Ironside's post hits the nail on the head, that's EXACTLY the problem I have at the momernt.
So I'm gonna be brave tonight, and empty my entire PM Inbox, which will solve the prob if Ironside is right. (Is he ever wrong?).
"tikay too busy to post on here now"? Ouch! OK, meant in jest, but it did hit a nerve......
I got a bit overloaded last week what with one thing and another, but I am back now, & am getting caught up slowly. I expect to be up to date by Wednesday. Rumours suggest that "Another site" (PLEASE, no names) forgot it's Members, & look what happened. It won't happen here.

Yeah Adam, you are not far wrong, but then you are a player, whereas that WSOPin06 fella, he's just a rock. My first job when I get a table move is to suss out the weak player who is going to be easy to push off a hand. When I moved tables on Saturday, I looked round, I saw Mark Williams & Ken Doherty, the 2 snooker geezers, Mad Marty Wilson, Bracelet winner James Vogl, & I'm thinking, "jeez, where am I gonna get my chips from?". Then I spotted Brian. Result!

Oops, that "Lukepokerfirst" is one of my bosses, he's one of the chaps I deal with at Poker First.

Seriously, thanks for the kind words Luke. I love being associated with the paper, gives me quite a kick. And I PROMISE, one of these days, to get my copy to you BEFORE the deadline......

Look here fella.
I Re-Raised you because.....
1) In that situation, that was the correct way to play against someone I judge to be "weak/tight/passive". 2) I reasoned that you would not have the ba**s to call. I was correct.
3) I DID show my hand, I had Jacks - in fact, I went so far as to show you one of them.
So in fact, I was right, & as it happens, you were right too, because I DID have an overpair, almost certainly. I would go so far as to say I am 95% - well at least 80% - sure I had JJ.
As the saying goes, "if you see a weasel sleeping, pi** in it's ear".
PS - I hope you dont find this patronising or condescending, but I am only trying to help. They have a 10 Rookies Night at Gala Notts every Tuesday. Why not give it a try?
And Junior is way out of order too, the suggestion that I had J-2 is just silly. I never - never ever - make that play with less than J4.

And Team blonde need to say a big "thank you" to a few folks. DaVe C, who arranged with Bruno for blonde to do the Live Updates. Bruno, who has been magnifique, given us everything we needed, all week, nothing was too much trouble. That's not just words - he really has been tremendous to Jen & myself. Sabine, as Bruno. Rolf Slotboom - once again, showed that Updaters can work as a team. Tom, from www.antesup.com. As at the WSOP, Tom has been a good friend & of great help. Benjamin G - he helped out a lot, and found us mains power when we most needed it. Finally, & most importantly - Jen. I never thought we would be able to find anyone we trusted enough to do these, but she is just THE World's best Updater. A wonderful way with words, ever enthusiastic, tireless, understands the game VERY well, & is not afraid to approach anyone with a question if it will help the cause. And everyone at the Venues - EVERYONE - adores her. She absolutely LOVES dloing it, too, & it shows. She told me she is living her dream doing this, rubbing shoulders with the poker greats & not-so greats, being an accepted part of the Poker Community. I don't know how long she will stick with blonde, but as far as we are concerned, we hope it's for as long as possible. So Bully for Roland, and Bully for Jen. TWO Stars born in the same event. How proud are we, eh guys?

I am not sure if this got overlooked in the hubba bubba of the last week, but......
Dave El Blondie Colclough has been elected to the European Poker Hall of Fame!
Quite right too.
A top player - a look at his achievements over the last decade shows that.
A top bloke - no player has better table manners.
A BIG benefactor for Charity - ask Poker4Charity.
You are a credit to Poker Dave, and an example to all of us as to how to conduct ourselves.

The reduction to 30 minute levels? Personally, I think it's a disgrace, but maybe I don't know what I am on about.
But I DID hear that NO Dinner Break is scheduled. And that the TV crew costs 100,000 per hour to hire. Make what you will of that.
TV has been good for poker, of that there's no doubt. But there's no such thing as a free dinner - everything has a price.
