i am never sure of that stack sizes 10-15 bigs is it always a shove pre?

under 10 i was jamming
um is this really that difficult ironside?

i c -bet and guy on rail (blonde) said the c bet of 24k was too big and didnt leave me enough to jam turn 55k

thinking if you guys think i should of jammed pre as played i should of jammed flop

If he calls flop we probs shouldnt be jamming turn

i had a brain fart think i murdered the hand
but adraineline was rushing as i am a $11 player not a $215

i was thinking he might have called with a weak ace and fold turn but looking back over hand i doubt he could

That tournament was in effect a freeroll Iron.

If you can beat $11 tournaments, you were definitely +ev in that.

The general standard of play was abysmal.

it might have been a freeroll ffs even i mini cashed but 215$ buy in was a large chunk of my roll which i wouldnt normally play ffs i even think twice before playing a $22 freeze

then pull out

but then i dont think twice of playing a £20 rebuy or £300 live comp

dont know why i am so timid online

Shove pre.

When there are antes in play you should be adjusting your shoving range to how much there is in the pot. In this case there is 19200 in the pot. So the bb is in effect 12.8k.

So in this hand we have just over 7bbs and kj in the hijack is a clear shove.

A quick trick in game to working out the adjusted blinds with antes in play, is that you can work out the adjusted sb by dividing the pot by 3. I do this in my head but if your mental arithmetic isn't quick just have a calculator ready when grinding.

thanks guys

lesson learnt

as it happens wouldnt have made a difference as he would of called

pre and was never going to fold at any staage

but next time its shove pre

only asked as i was told after hand by a reg poster on here that i should have bet less on flop

if i was going to shove turn

i think there was a time when you had 10bbs and you minraised instead of shoved they folded andyou showed AK andwe talked about future and you said you wanted to minraise in future, did this have any bearing on hand?

like i said on msn if u decide to bet this flop, you have to check turn.

and in general, id rather cbet small and jam turns as semi bluffs rather than bet medium, jam medium.

yeah think shoving was what i should of been doing

think i had around the same amount of blinds with teh AK

with 10 bigs or below i shove normally

i had a plan and never stuck to it

ideally i was bet winning the pot pre

i was folding to the 3 bet pre

and i hadnt a clue when the sb flatted and forgot it could mean he was uber strong  and read weak

That's a nice way of doing it. Cheers :)
