You are in the sb, all fold to the button who raises for as he has done every other time, standard. I've 3 bet him a few times and folded a few. He's been very aggro in a decent way, 3 betting frequently and not doing anything stupid.

70 of 2000 ish left and you are sitting about 15th with 60k, villain has 45k, blinds at 500/1000 and antes

You have AQos in the sb.

Button raises to 2.7k

You 3 bet to 9.5k

He shoves

Call?

i insta called btw.

yes its a call. given the dynamic,
these spots are often tricky 3betting from the sb so deep, but with a hand as strong as AQ, its a trivial 3b/call
also like the 3bet amount oop. played as i would.

Am I really that much of a nit?
Were happy to get 60 bigs in with AQ just like that?

Yes, button on blind against said villain, it's a no brainer...

I actually would have AQ as the worse hand I'd be comfortable calling with here (as well as pairs TT+). I think we have enough bigs behind to let worse hands go.

I'd be interested in the thinking behind a wider calling range....
