My two cents.
Grosvenor just don’t give a shit about poker. They are in it for the short term looking to take as much as possible then ride off into the sunset. They also have an archaic senior management who don’t listen are stuck in the past do not want to innovate.
My local casino is a Grosvenor and playing less and less and I’m glad others are voting with their feet. Whoever came up with this voucher system should be sacked on the spot.
Amen.

Seen on Twitter today; Hmmmm Some of those changes are improvements. No seats from prize pool is a big plus. Assume that they still take a % for the regulars on the GUKPT circuit.

I am not really averse to vouchers, so long as they are limited to guarantee costs. You are still getting overpaid vs buyins if you get a voucher.

25/25 Day 2 at Luton
Blinds will be 1k/2k/2k bb ante
Punters can still buy in for a 25k ss up to 10mins before the start of play
Is it just me that thinks this is insane?

I’m sure that Pads will be along soon to explain why it is a good move for players of his ability level to buy in at this stage, and at the same time he’ll tell us that it is good for everyone else already in the tournament. I won’t be convinced though.

Yes, I would agree that it’s good for all the players with stacks of ~30bb+ but I was rather thinking about the ppl entering.
And yes, I have to accept that if Pads says it’s good for players of his ability, then who am I to argue?

Easter Beast - 20k starting stack, people buying in at 1000/2000 with a BB Ante so 20% of the stack has to go in when the blinds hit.
Buying in to Day 2 at 1500/3000 ... it will be interesting to see if anyone is that foolish brave tomorrow.
