Italy almost odds-on now for the Eurovision.

Put the video up a while ago when it was 4-1 ish. Now a shorter price than Loreen was at the same stage. It's not even close to being in that class.

Dustbin is out to 3rd fave for the Masters after falling on a staircase. I don't know how you land on your lower back but that's the official story http://www.skysports.com/golf/news/24512/10826759/dustin-johnson-suffers-back-injury-after-fall-on-the-eve-of-the-masters

Easy to miss the bottom step and land on your arse.

McGlashan is clearly teetotal.

Yeh me too, but the way they describe it is fishy.

"He landed very hard on his lower back and is now resting, although quite uncomfortably. He has been advised to remain immobile and begin a regimen of anti-inflammatory medication and icing, with the hope of being able to play tomorrow."

Lifting / jerking motions hurt your lower back more than impact wounds. Maybe I'm just too cynical from listening to boxer's injury excuses.

the next 5 bones are the sacrum and are also part of the spine and the back
my guessing is he landed somewhere beetween L3 and S3 hurting any bone in this area can cause alot of pain in the whole region right up to T7 or 8 even without a major incident
as the spine is a funny old but vital part of our bodies

Back injuries are serious and golfing twists the spine so there's a curiously around his price. He's currently 9-1 and is scheduled to tee off in the last group.

I also reckon Barney should be fave, thoughts?

Agree. Not even close.

If anyone was wondering about my Barny/Wade pick last week he's 1.7-1.8 this week vs James Wade Tongue

£50 on Barney 13/8 underdog vs taylor. Barney shorter odds for the outright and playing better

Agree with this. I'm on.
I have no view on the game personally at the prices other than to say a coin flip game like this the draw is always value at 7/2 so the optimal trade if you think Barney is overpriced is to lay Taylor and not back Barney as there is always +ev in the draw in the game just based on simple maths.

What is the maths? What you say makes absolute logical sense...but whenever i try mentally work it out i can't do it lol

How does it change it if it's a close game in the markets but it shouldn't be on merit?

Had a new record, a brand new sky account, open deposit, place a bet on Snedeker at 50-1, max they would lay is £75 - fair enough new account £5k exposure.

I then try to have a bet on Leishmann and am limited to 83p seconds after, same for all golfers.

Try Aintree and limited to a £30 win, seconds after placing the first bet

It may well be a bit pointless as it is Shy, so you'll lose the account soon enough anyway, but using your first bet to be a golfer at 66/1 under a great offer might never be the right strategy to keep the account.
