Every Day, Thomas Kremser and his team wear a different colour matching tie and hankie. Yesterday they took the bull by the horns and opted for pink. Very brave!

Any guesses on today's colour?

I'm going to live dangerously and go for lime green.

Good luck to all the Brits still in the running!!

P.S Why is Miss Mercier highlighted in red, has she obtained a British passport?

Morning all!

Another quite beautiful day here in Deauville, clear blue sky, bit cold, but still lovely.

I can't remember looking forward to a day's poker so much for ages - the "Home Team" are going terrific, & there are heaps of blondes still going strong.

We will try & pull out the names of the blondeites if time permits - I'm amazed how many there are.

The poker 425 Camera Crew will be here at 3pm France time, so we can get some nice blonde interviews & footage.

I think - not 100% - that we play down to 2 tables today, but I may be wrong there.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the updates over the last two days... Great Work - looking forward to more of the same today.

Good luck to all remaining blondites

Quick question for tikay or Yponos... Are the tables played 9 or 10 handed? and is this typical of all EPT events?

Hi Nightfly!, thanks.

No, not 10 handed, not 9 handed - we are playing EIGHT handed, which really is excellent. They play 8 handed at the Monte Carlo EPT, too. That's poker at it's best, to my mind.

sloopy is upset that you called him yponos.

Hows the little one Nightfly - can we have a pic, please?

GL to all the blondes left in. Would be great to have a blonde champ.

Prize Money - give us a couple of minutes. I've delegated that one to Alright Jack.

So far, the blonde office houses Flushy, Alright Jack, sloppy, & myself. Not seen Ben yet, hope he's OK.

The news from Jen is that she does not feel too well, but she'll be OK, I'm sure. She is absolutely exhausted. We shall keep her sugar levels up, & she'll be alright, I'm sure. Her Mum watched all day yesterday - "Legume" I think is her blonde alias.

And talking of the table draw, which slooppy is inputting now, there is something of a sensation. The table "re-draw" has EVERY player seated in alphabetical order! So, to Jen Mason's right is Patrick Martennson, & to her left, Isabelle Mercier, & so on. How weird! But I'm not sure it's iunfair, but I've never seen that before.

On the same theme - think about it - Willie Tann has one Julian Thew to his immediate left. Interesting......

And Wernick - getting the idea now? - has Simon Zach to his left.

Fascinating!

Nightfly your daughter is absolutely gorgeous - I hope she's aiming to be the next Annie Duke!

Noting how many of the Blonde updaters have been getting the same bug, is it something they've all been eating?  Seems very strange that they are being hit with it one by one.

There is quite a nasty bug going round the UK, the day after we got back from Cyprus 3 in my house came down with it, and half the area seems to of had it in the last couple of weeks. Looks to me like one of them was coming down with it, and has passed it on to the others.

James was feeling terrible last night, a bit better today but we'll just have to see if he's managed to shake it off.

Yep, there's a couple in my office with it at the moment - one guy even passed out on the train on the way home from work on Wednesday. It's a nasty one.

On the subject of the alphabetical seating, this seems a really odd idea. What if Barny Boatman had got through from yesterday - would he always want to be sat next to Ross at a poker table? Husbands and wives would be next to each other as well - all very strange.

EDIT: If this becomes standard at tournaments, I might change my surname to Mercien :)

alphabetic seating? ridiculous idea. There should be a stink kicked up about this as seating draws are meant to be random- as has already been pointed out husbands/wifes and brothers/sisters would be sat next to each other. Stewards enquiry demanded if I was there.

Completely agree....also if this became common practice you would end up with the same names on tables together over and over again!

Imagine it.

1) Barny Boatman
2) Ross Boatman
3) Noah Boeken
4) Roy Brindley
5) Doyle Brunson
6) Todd Brunson

That would be an interesting table to watch. Maybe we could have a competition to come up with the best fantasy table to watch purely by picking players with adjacent names alphabetically.

Alphabetical Draw - I don't think there IS a problem with it, BUT, you can only ever do it ONCE, so today will be the first time & last time EVER. It would, of course, be outrageous to do it more than once, because that would mean playing aganst the same peeps all the time. But once only - it's novel, it's cool, & I don't think it's a problem really. Interesting, though....

Nightfly - your Daughter is too lovely for words. You are a lucky Man, & please give my regards to Mrs Nightfly.

Alphabetical idea - nice to see Ariston is back, sitting on the fence as ever......

Have we ruled out the chance that they did do a random draw, and that it just so happened all the names came out in alphabetical order?

It could have happened like that...

Burnley John is OUT.

He reraised an under the gun raise with pocket fives.

The original raise, Ryan Fronda, dwellt for ages.

Even I almost called for the clock.

He eventually made a good call for most of his chips with pocket sevens.

Another seven on the turn sealed his fate and John's gone early doors.

James was feeling terrible last night, a bit better today but we'll just have to see if he's managed to shake it off.

as long as they do this for this tournament only its a nice idea but if they did it for EVERY EPT then it wouldn't be fair or random but as a ONE OFF i think its good.

John did't do anything wrong. He has to make a move in the first round or so as his stack is less than 10 times the big blind. Similarly, Ryan, with not much more has to gamble early as well. As another seven fell on the turn, if he had kings aces or any other higher pair, we'd get the same result.

Commisserations to John, who has had a rollercoaster ride through this tournament. He picks up 7 Unusual Suspects points and moved on to a total of 109.

All-in preflop.

Glenne Bjorn = Aspades 8d

Marc Goodwin = Kc Kd

Flop = 7d Td 9d

Turn = Js

River = 4h

Ouch

Marc had a face like thunder and asked if he still had to pay.

He's still in though...

How did Willie Tann go from 2k to 60k in an hour?, someone asks.

When Willie gets on a roll, he's well-nigh unplayable, especially, as yesterday, when he is against youngsters. The kids with their hoodies & Baseball Caps on backwards were giving it the sour faced dwells & growls, "4k to go", & Willie just sat there giggling, "don't do it Son, don't do it", & when they eventuaally puffed out their chests & bet into Willie, he'd just say "OK, 4k to go, I make it 35k, how you like that eh, how you like that? You don't wanna mess with me, now do you?".....

Wonderful stuff!

Good morning from the United States, everyone! (It's 7:40 am here in the Central Time Zone right now.)

I'm still rooting strong for Isabelle Mercier and Jen Mason -- Isabelle because I know her, and Jen because I FEEL like I know her after following her updates at past events. I want to see BOTH at the final table. :)

I'm not a fan of the alphabetical table draws. Like Tikay said, you can do it ONCE. It's not a problem today (although I don't like having Isabelle & Jen seated NEXT to each other), but if it's repeated, it'll take away some of the integrity of the game.

We've occasionally had strange table draws here in the States too, including one casino (can't remember which one) that did a purely alphabetical draw like this one.

Most of the non-random table draws we've had were based on chip counts -- something like the top eight players were all in seat 5 (if there were eight table remaining), and the bottom eight players were all in seat 4. And it would be seeded in that fashion. It's not random in the usual sense, but it does give extra advantage to the larger stacks and extra disadvantage to the smaller stacks. And it guarantees you won't have the two chip leaders next to each other at the start of the day, and every short stack will have to face at least one deep stack.

Anyway, I hope Table 16 breaks early so Isabelle and Jen can go about the business of taking everyone ELSE's chips.  :)

I have an article to finish writing and a few meetings scheduled, but if you keep up the great reporting (and I'm sure you will), I'll check in as often as I can today.  :)

Jon, what's the present points total on the Unusual Suspects now?

What points are available?

1.     John    109
2.    James    96
3.    Jen    95

There is still 9 points for the 2nd suspect that finishes, and 12 for the last one in. There is also still the heads up matches still to come.

Title: Re: PokerStars EPT, Deauville - Day 2
Post by: Jamier-Host on February 10, 2006, 01:48:55 PM
John is now on 109 points.

James and Jen are on 96 and 95 points respectively.

However there are 12 points and 9 points still up for grabs in this event depending on who lasts longer - plus bonus points for a money/final table finish.

Following that they still have a few heads up games to play against one another.

Mr Fougeron, who has not shown himself to be a Gentlemsan who wins with much decorum, being a table-banger & clapper, has 39,900 I believe.

Mr CardPlayerBJ - Morning, thank you for your undying support, I am actually at right next to Rolf Slotboom. Jen next to Isabelle? It's not a problem to Jen, it's really not. I expect Isa to try & pinch Jen's blinds, but I am afraid Jen is tougher than most players think, & it might get dirty, but Jen is in great heart, & she will enjoy it win or lose. We have a pic of Jen & Isabelle, sat next to each other, ready to go up shortly. The Big Dicks on Jen's table yesterday kept looking at the diminutive Jen & trying to steal pots off her, & she handled them all with aplomb, on one occasion calling a big River bet with bottom pair!

The Alpha draw? It's cool, just this once, there is not a problem. Quite interesting, actually.

Jen & Isa having a ball, Thewy ( a LOVELY pic), Stuart Nash, Royal Flush, John Hewston, Peter Roche, and the Chip Leader, Mr Douieb, who is a MOST interesting character, who plays many of the really big events. Middle aged, Baseball cap always on backwards, great, GREAT character. Thanks for the Jen & Isabelle pic, Snoops! My caption:

"Jennifer Mason (left) watches as Isabelle Mercier studies her chip stack before reraising all in on the river. Mercier would eliminate two players on this hand when her {Jd-10d} made a full house on a board of {Qs-10s-10h-9h-Js}. Her opponents held {Ah-Kh} for the ace-high straight and {As-9s} for the ace-high flush -- Mercier eliminated both players on this hand. Amazingly, Mason eliminated two others on the following hand, when her {9h-7h} made a ten-high straight on a board of {Ac-10h-8h-3d-6d}. Play stopped at Table #16 for several minutes until new victims could fill those seats, giving Ms. Mercier and Ms. Mason enough time to stack their chips and determine which of them was the new chip leader."

Vaswani -- 60k
Tann -- 47k
KP Nuts -- 32k
Wernick -- 37k
Boatman -- 29k
Jen -- 60k
Hewston --113k (!)

In fact, I thought John Hewston had taken a hit when I saw him sitting down with 20k and a slight grimace on his face. I was about to run back and report the hilarious (cough) pun, 'Hewston, we have a problem!',  but then I saw his enterage of casino staff carrying over the rest of his 93k.

Ram Vaswani has just won a massive 80k pot off a Mr Torbey in seat 1.

Torbey looked furious and banged the table when he realsied that his stack was to drop right down to 15k.

The reason?

Flop = Aspades 6h 3h

Torbey = Ahrt Kc    Vaswani = 3d 3c

Not a happy chappy at all.

Cardplayer - that's not a Caption, that's a Novel!

Micky W has had a little setback, he has about 35k, but he can grind with a lot less than that if he has to. Last night, with 55k, he said that was too many!

John Hewston is goling erll, he has a wall of chips, about 100k I guess.

But the story of the day so far is Brit Jeff Sharpe - anyone know this guy? He begun the day with 59k, & has 145k now, after a flush v flush clash, he had the J flush, Matey Boy had the 9 flush.

Jen has moved tables, & she is sitting quiet, after not playing a hand on her first table. On her new table, she recognized th BB from her starting table yesterday, &, wanting to play a hand to defray "rock" image, she Raised it up with K-6, but he called, oops. Flop was Q-9-2, two Hearts, BB checked, Jen bet 10k, he passed, & Jen heaved a sigh of relief. Image intact.....

Isabelle is fuming after her J-J was busted by Simon Zach's K-J, when Simon flopped two K's! Isa NOT happy......

Stuart Fox has 120k, & is motoring.

Ram Vaswani has well over 240k.

And what aboit THIS....

John Hewston makes it 11k to go in early position.

BB promptly says "all-in" with 70k, John beats him into the pot. BB confidently turns over A-Q, John Hewston turns over A-A, & it's good enough to rocket Hewston into space orbit with 200k+.

Willie Tann is in full talk mode. There is a R, & a call, so Wille calls too. "Im a voyuer, I pay to watch".......

He flops quad tens and isa unfortunately pays the 10k milk bet on the river again with another big hand. Split loyalties for me obviously but there are no friends in poker. I am out.

Was down to 27k, posted the BB 2k.

UTG bit of a fish, has limped lots of hands and is on a slow decline, limps UTG. All fold to the SB who is half decent player, he limps.

With 7.4k in the middle i am pushing in with a wider range of hands here, i look down to see an Ace, bonus! A5 sooooted i push in, the UTG dwells for a while and calls the 25k with a player still to act, at this point i am thinking 'oops'

SB passed the UTG had 66.....genious player clearly. We both hit and now i am on the rail, in, ironically, 66th.

correction on the isa/zach spat..she didnt pay him off with the quads and still has a healthy stack. She now realises hes from Blackpool and is one of my mates "I don't like Blackpool" was apparently the comment, something to do with a fish who couldn't pass his baby flush (ooops). She will have a huge stack by the end of the day and make a real run at the final, don't anyone doubt it.

The Paul Parker exit had a bit of a twist to it.

One guy had a king exposed and his replacement card was a seven, so he held Kh 7h instead of pocket kings. He had said that he would have pushed with K7 anyway, but decided not to, due to the exposed king.  Had he pushed with either hand Paul would not have made a move with his queen six.  So, the short version of the obviously long description Paul told me was that but for the exposed card, he'd still be in the tournament. Bad luck Paul, but at least you've got another story to add to your repetoire.

I know that Tikay et al are not keen on copying stuff from other boards but, this is so news worthy. It is quite incredible:

Marc Goodwin : We've just had a hand that we were told had to be capped on three raises! One guy bets two, the next two-two, the next two-two-two and the next guy can only call. It's no limit! We asked for a ruling, I said that's not right, and she said those are IPF rules. We were all laughing and told her to get the official ruling but she said it stands. I can't believe it! I've been playing for 23 years and never heard of it! It's f***ing rediculous! It's no limit!

''What if you look down and find a hand and you've only got 7,000 left? You're thinking 'great, i can get in here', but you're told you can only cap it. It's rediculous.''

To be fair, I know Tikay says if we paste anything from here on other site, say it is from Blonde so, I need to say I took it from Gutshot. I guess I can also say, i prefer this board by far, lol!!  It was just so big I had to put it on here...

Come on Micky the Legend, my respect has tripled after he told Roy off, nothing worse than an insincere 'sorry'. By the way where the heck has Brindley been anyway, I havent heard him in a single report until now...

Hi Daren, thanks. Will keep em coming.  I need some food badly though.

The "Only Three Raises" rule in no-limit also showed up at the Bicycle Casino in late August -- a World Poker Tour event. It was a casino-specific rule at the Bicycle, and they normally enforced it in their local tournaments. But with the traveling pros there for the WPT, it caused a bit of a stink. (The rule was the same as the one mentioned here.)

Most players still hope for the day when poker can have a truly uniform set of rules -- even including things like "F-Bomb" penalties. (And NOBODY seems to like that rule!) But to this point, the rules up to the televised final tables are dictated by the local casinos, rather than the World Poker Tour. (Or, it appears, the European Poker Tour.)

Edit -- The World Series of Poker events (including the year-round circuit events) are much more uniform, because everything has been "centralized" by Harrah's, with traveling tournament staff. Unfortunately, they're the ones with the "F-Bomb" rule.

Oh, and for those who aren't aware, last year's WSOP Tournament Director Johnny Grooms will NOT be returning this year. Without going into the gory details, he has parted ways with Harrah's, and those of us in the media firmly support Mr. Grooms, who is one of the best in the business.

Play has slowed down here as the money approaches.

Jen assured me that she was going to go for it and not try and sneak into the money. She need not worry about creeping over that line though as she's sitting on a comfortable, if not groundbreaking, 70k.

Imagine it.

1) Barny Boatman
2) Ross Boatman
3) Noah Boeken
4) Roy Brindley
5) Doyle Brunson
6) Todd Brunson

That would be an interesting table to watch. Maybe we could have a competition to come up with the best fantasy table to watch purely by picking players with adjacent names alphabetically.

Yes, that would be an interesting table to watch, but imagine how hard it would be to seat alphabetically the Nguyen family. I believe there's something like 58 from the family playing and at least couple of them share the same 1st l...

BAD NEWS ALL

Jen is OUT

She's hit the bubble and is out in 41st.

I can only salute her bravery and say how proud we all are of her.

I haven't spoken to her yet, but she must be gutted.

There was a big crowd gathered around her table when I approached. As soon as I saw Julian and tikay looking on anxiously, I knew we were in trouble.

Jen was up again pocket jacks with big slick, Ad Kd.

No help came and she's gone.

... but it's credit to her that she refused to stagger over the money line and had enough heart (and balls?) to take a shot at the life changing money.

 :respect:

Oooooooh Jon whilst I think about it:

Any decision on your diamond dilemma?

My thoughts on the matter are that just because you get engaged,
there is nothing to say you have to run up the aisle a few weeks/months
later.

Concentrate on her and the baby, you will both know when the time is right

I feel for Jen, she has done Blonde, Blue Square and herself very proud.  I still haven't seen her since the exit, having decided to go get a bite to eat just beforehand (mainly to avoid the bubble situation - its the one time I don't really want to be around).

Trace, no decision yet, but I'm in no hurry.

They've resumed play now and Mickey has been moved to a table with Willie Tann, Julian Thew and Peter Roche.  The press are no now longer allowed to mingle amongst the tables, but luckily Mickey is seated next to the rail, so I'll be keeping a watchful eye on the proceedings.

Once a again, Jen, you did great!!

Hi guys, I'm back. Still absolutely gutted for Jen.

We just ate tea at some nice pizza place across the road. She'c clearly disappointed but still in high spirits. Incredible really, but sh'es not letting it get her down.

Anyhow, back to the comp. We've still got the likes of Julian and Micky fighting away, so we've got to carry on the smashing support that has been thrown their way thus far.

A few chip counts courtesy of Ben, who is looking slightly better today, but still coughing and spluttering.

Willie Tann -- 60k
Julian Thew -- 125k
Micky Wernick -- 75k
Jeff Sharpe -- 187k
Emile Petit -- 110k
Henrick Olander -- 35k
Martin Green -- 138k
Stuart Fox -- 110k
Roy Brindley -- 140k

Bit deflated, but I'll do my best to keep you updated.

Isabelle Mericer has doubled through courtesy of Roy 'The Boy' Brindley.

The hands were K-T and Q-9, with Isa hitting Broadway on the turn.

Other news from the Irish contingent is that Peter Roche is playing an ultra agressive game and has just forced mateyboy to pass after another all-in reraise.

Scores on the doors so far:

109 John
107 Jen

9-7 on big blind with a 9 high flop. Ram hit the flush draw.

Any chance of getting some side coverage of the JenM, flushy, and JohnB HU matches please?

AJ, any chance of a Unusual Suspects score count, I suspect it's looking close... :)

Scores on the doors so far:

109 John
107 Jen
105 James

There is still 4 HU games to play, where each player has to play each other player. 5 points for each win.

Thanks Ginger, I hope James isn't feeling too bad about his exit earlier. :)

if those scores are correct ginger what a finish to the unusual suspects league. Any player who can win both their heads up matches is through. If they win one match each john is through. I suggest a little deal making be done between the 3 of them as its an awful big prize to come down to a coin flip or whatever....maybe bluesquare could do the decent thing and take all 3 of them to monte carlo with the losing 2 playing in the 1000 event or something??

Hi Mad Yank.

Many thx. It's been a great week, but I can't put into words how deflated we all are over what happened to Jen.

But the show must go on.

Regarding the heads up matches, I'm not sure these are going ahead tonight due to players getting so far. If anything happens, we'll let you know. It's still anybody's game.

having railbirded Jen in helsinki, i know how well she plays against the big stacks. She never shows fear and has an uncanny ability to read the better players. People think they can bully Jen but she will always come straight back at ya!

I suspect she smelt the pizza and her subconcious self put her out of the tourney, if theres one thing Jen loves more than poker is dinner time!

Hi James, yes, tis me. I've been follically challenged since I was about 21 though, so I've no insecurities about that, but I must do something about my ever growing gut and double chin...

On the heads up front, it would not be fair to put the remaining trio through a series of very imprtant heads up matches after such an exhausting few days for them, so it has been decided to put them on hold.  I still need to agree it with Grosvenor but the likely venue for them will be Walsall, during the Midlands Medley in a couple of weeks time.

Hi Guys,

I've been offline for a few hours, da de da de da, & was on the rail sweating Jen when John Hewston bust her. He had JJ the previous hand, then found QQ. Still, good luck to him.

We - Jen, Thewy, snoppy & myself had dinner across the road, & when I went to pay the bill, I found that Paul Barnes, the CEO of All-In Poker, had treated us. Thanks Paul.

Jen is fine, honestly, & she never had even a monents hesitation about calling the all-in RR by John, she wanted a double up, & inching into the money had not crossed her mind. Boy of boy, she has won an army of admirers recently. She will be up here in the Media Centre shortly, I've slipped her my Press Pass.

Thewy in action, Paul Short Stack has  Ad 4d and Julian calls him with  Jc 4h.

Flop is  Kd Qd 7c, turn  2s, leaving Julian with just 2 outs. Guess what the River was......

Another man experiences the Thewy Steamroller, & our Man adds a handy 30k to his growing stack. He was quiet all afternoon, "waiting for the rush" as he put it, well, the rush has arrived.

Even better than that, he is right up there with his partner in crime, Tikay, as being a genuinely top bloke. I will never forget the genorousity that he and Tikay showed to me on my first visit to the casino. And then the patience to teach me how to play!  I could not understand why these two guys were trying to help me. They didnt know me from Adam. NoFlops, sorry for taking so long to reply, a friend called and she certainly likes to talk!!

Yes, the end of the Unusual Suspects is going to be nail biting stuff, those scores are correct and as you say, anyone that wins 2 HU matches goes through. Fingers crossed for James as this I believe is his speciality.

Ariston, I agree totally, it seems so harsh that the winner takes all and the other 2 out of the final 3 walk away empty handed, the 1000 buy-in sounds a great idea to me lol.

Tikay/Snoops, has anyone seen James since his exit? He called straight after, but I've not been able to get in touch with him again.

Julian takes a knock on the TV table.

He raises preflop, called by Jensen.

Flop = 5c Ts Ad

check, julian bets 40k, all-in, 50k more for Julian.

Julian assesses the sitation, then folds.

Must be down to around 210k.

I, like most was, sad to hear about jen... a fantastic performance.

Since hearing about it i kept thinking of the following quote from the film Coach Carter

Can't say why really, Maybe it's relevant maybe it's not

It feels like it is, so i tracked it down and here it is:

Coach Ken Carter: What is your deepest fear?
Timo Cruz: Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Very Well played Jen

All-in preflop

Aspades 3c versus Kd 9d

Board = Kc 5c Jc Qc 8h

Ouch

Mateyboy took it well though.

Jeff Sharpe is OUT

Ram raises to 30k in the cut-off.

Jeff Sharpe calls on the button.

Both blinds pass.

Flop Ac 4c Qh

Ram checks, Jeff bets 50k

Ram pushes and Jeff calls after a short dwell.

Jeff -- Aspades Jc

Ram -- Kc Tc

Turn = 3c

Jeff is drawing dead.

Thanks to Ben for obtaining that hand info.

Micky Wernick just shouted me from the side of the stage.

For a moment I thought he'd been knocked out.

Then I thought we were on a break.

Then I saw Micky's cigaette and realised that only Micky was on a break.

'Get back Micky!'

'2 tables left' according to Micky.

If Stuart Fox is out, then they've forgotten to take his chips and escort him from his seat.

He has 90k after calling Micky's all-in with K-3.

Shortstacked Micky Wernick held pocket eights. No king arrived.

Cheers From the pokerstars page.

Nine have fallen from the list in the previous post. They're dropping quicker than I can type. The unlucky names are:

Julian Thew - Nottingham player tried to make queens beat aces. They didn't.
Lex Veldhuis - qualifier's big slick slipped into pocket kings
Jerome Douieb - overnight chip leader and PokerStars qualifier was last French player to be eliminated
Jerome Zerbib - penultimate Frenchman's two pair was not big enough
Stuart Fox - Englishman cunningly slipped away
Jeff Sharpe - tried to batter Ram with ace-jack. Ram calls with flush draw and hits

If you're still wondering how John Hewston lost all those chips earlier on...

Kc Qs v Aspades Ahrt on a flop of  Ad Kd Qc

That lost him a large chunk, not sure about the rest. Will have to ask him next time I see him.

With all the randoms crowded round the final table like flies arond er... stuff, it's very tricky for me to keep going back and forth.

Therefore, I had a quick word with Tommy Kremser and he's agreed to jot down the hands as he's announcing them and personally bring them up to the press room. Good lad. It's going to be a pain for him to do it after every hand, but he reckons it's worth it and all the players have agreed to wait each time too.

Hold on, I think I hear his footsteps now...

Mats Iremark has doubled up Theo Jorgensen.

(Who?! Yes, I know... but don't forget Micky's still in there)

Ks Qc (Theo) versus 7s 7h (Mats)

Qh 2h 3d  Ahrt Jd

Any1 still alive?

Woo-hoo! Isabelle is in fourth chip position headed to the final table! Now I'm off to find a Euro-to-Dollar conversion web site. But I'll be back tomorrow to follow her to the winner's circle!

Jen -- You played your heart out the past two days and you should be very proud. You didn't finish in the money, but money will never be able to buy respect. You final tabled in that category.  :)
