Actually, on second thoughts, I've done a 180. Not sure it's wise to alter people's titles, even though Saphire isn't a regualr poster. I wouldn't be too chuffed if some1 changed my titles.

soz - my mistake.

I'll pm him tho with the suggestion.

Snoopy, why not change it to 'Good TV (Deal or No Deal)'?

That was an idea, but it's still tampering with people's posts.

He dealt at £20K with a board of (I thnk)

10p
£100
£500
£5000
£250,000

And would have been left with

10p
£100

and actually had 10p in the box.

Not a great offer with the 250,000 still there.

Not a great offer, but a justifiable one considering he had no safety net, I would have accepted that offer through gritted teeth, but accepted all the same.

Such a low offer makes me wonder if what Aces said about the French version is true here. That the banker knows what is in each box.

I just think the guy looked so relieved that he hadn't knocked out the £250 k that he would have dealt at anything apart from a silly figure. Spooky how he skipped the number 9 box and then went back at the end to find the £250k there. Mind you if the really knew what he was doing he would have done no deal and kept the box till the end.

my understanding is that we're quite strict over here about what Noel says at the begining. if he says banker doesn't know and there's an independant adjudicator I think it has to be straight up.

If he knew what was in the box he wouldn't have offered £20K

I think offering 9p would be a little obvious though.  Cheesy
