I have just received yet another very kind donation of £110 off Ian aka cia260895. This was for his Sky Poker seat for which he could not attend to play, so very kindly donated the entry fee to Reece's holiday account.
I have withdrawn the amount ( subject to FT allowing me to withdraw a transfer) and as soon as it hits my bank will then put it into Reece's savings book.
A massive THANK YOU to Ian from us all.

Ian's money got to my bank today so on my break tomorrow I hope to get to Reece's bank and deposit it. I will then scan the book and send copies to Tom & Tighty. I will also take the book along with me to Bolton For tighty to see in person.
TY all... we are getting close I think. xx

Stacey is rather excited, she was told today that she has been conditionally accepted (does that sound right?) at Huddersfield Uni, subject to her getting top marks this year off her college course that she is in her second year of. She is quite confident she will achieve top so therefore will commence uni studying Law & Accountancy this September.
Well Done Stacey.

Well starting the ball rolling now with the holiday plans. Colin (cdw) is sending us up a BA paper where some villas may be within our price range, he is also seeing what flights will work out at but the only down fall would be the extra traveling for the little fella as it would have to be from Gatwick. Plus we will have to ferry a lot of luggage.
I have priced some flights with Thomas Cook today, they work out at £1600 all but a few quid which is better than other prices I have had. I also managed to phone them up and ask if they waiver extra luggage for him, they said as long as it is all medical and packed separate, yes they do. Pheww that helps some. Still not ready to book the flights until I have sorted the insurance out. I have joined PINNT today which is an online site specially for people like Reece, it gives lots of helpful info and links to travel insurance firms which others have already used. Just got to wait for a pin to log in to arrive.
My belly is churning, so bloody scared to book owt just in case....... The team seem to think he will be free of TPN and just on Gastrostomy feeds over night by the time we go, I would love to believe this but always a shadow, specially when he has dropped a bit in weight again. This may be due to him being on antibiotics and making him even more frequent than he usually is. He will still be able to go even if he is on TPN, but I want him to be fully functioning when we are there not thin and tired due to just stopping TPN. We will see, what will be will be. He is going that's for sure as soon as Grandma can press the book button. Hopefully May / June, then the battle with the school begins as they really do not like the children being off but we have to go when we can, he ain't missing out this one.
