I like the look of Thongchai Jaidee for the Scottish Open (40/1). He has come 1st, Tied 5th & Tied 2nd in his last 3 European events. Suggest £5 EW

gotcha. No worries. Interesting quiz question that one though for sure. The whole thing shows though how much getting into the EPL is worth now that clubs are willing to spend £11m on the championship's top scorer the previous season to try and get a team out of the championship. Incredible.

Incredible. I just get the feeling it's like buying in the previous year's wsop winner at a mark up of 5.0 the next year though thinking you have got proven C&D form on your side.

This coming Saturday will see the start of an event which I absolutely love, but one which will bore to death most on here.........it's Fishomania time again!
I'll do a bit of a write up soon if you guys are interested in a bit of value. Each competitor has had to win a qualifier where only 1 goes through to the final from up to 200 competitors.
In short, we have a 16 man field, and prices range from 6/1 up to about 25/1. Could be value for you maths guys out there.
More to follow....
good stuff. you win it by weight of fish caught, right? That is correct yes. As soon as I've done my research on wind direction, recent results on the lake, air temp etc etc (bored yet?) I'll be back.

Scottish Open.
I can't have current RTD leader Bjorn at 45/1 when others with so little recent form or pedigree are much shorter. Backed him with Coral. Widely available at 40/1 and 33's in places so think 45/1 represents value. He steps his game up for the biggies and picks and choses his events these days.
I also like the american Brooks Koepka at 80/1. Was 12th last year, has played numerous events on the euro tour after graduating from dominating the challenge tour where he won an event easily in scotland.
Had a small interest in Richie Ramsay at 125/1 with stan (not for fred). He had a decent run here last year and whilst he retired from his last event with a small niggle, he is fit again after physio and crucially is a member here at aberdeen and knows it incredibly well. If he starts well i think he goes well. Its a bit between his ears i am afraid but still value at this price IMO.
All each way of course 6 places 1/4
