Nike advertise Barcelona shirts with "Coutinho" on them
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42527428
Seems ominous.

Do you think he's going in January? Summer makes more sense for Liverpool fighting on a few fronts

Makes sense on all fronts? Barca are comfortably clear in la liga so probably don't need him this season and he can't play in the champions league for them anyway. Surely a summer move is the obvious bet?

He's gone, £140 million.
Nice bit of business, that.

Yes, good business. We've got a strong attacking force without him and our transfer record signing Keita coming in the summer.
Spend the £140m on a goal keeper and another CB for £70m each imo!
Next year is our year!

How about THAT for a decent game of football?
Wonderful stuff, enthralling from start to finish.
Not a fluke either, the best team on the day won.
Coutinho missing, but £100 milly + in the bank, & a great new centre half, (missing yesterday) exactly as needed.
Add a half decent 'keeper, & that'll be some side.
Personally, I don't care if they win any trophies or not, it's just great to see football played like that again by as Liverpool side.
I'd watch a lot more football if there were more teams like Liverpool, Man City & Arsenal. Results don't matter to me, entertainment does.
Enjoy.

Was terrific entertainment.
We have a "half decent 'keeper " in Danny Ward. Would love to see him get a run of games.

Totally agree tikay too much negative football about nowadays. I was suprised the timing of the coutinho think we all expected him to go in the summer if we reinvest in the areas needed we should be stronger next season

Liverpool in need of a keeper upgrade?
Mignolet's rolling xG2 and actual goals allowed/attempt since 2014/15 #PremierLeague #lfc Red over blue = spells of under performance. Data from InfoGolApp

Goalkeepers who’d represent a significant upgrade are in fairly short supply though I guess, which is an issue. Oblak if he’d leave Atletico, Schmeichel and perhaps Butland if Stoke get relegated. Don’t know enough about the Trapp fella they’ve been linked with to know how good he is.

Lovely.
By chance, I was going to post on this thread this morning.
Klopp seems to have got a bad press in the last 2 seasons, but he's not doing so bad, is he?
Sold Coutihno, but still doing better than last season, that has to be a result, right?
I suppose it's possible that they are a 1 man band, with the stunningly good Salah, but who knows?
So good to see Liverpool back up there.
Today's game could be a cracker, or, as is so often the case, a damp squib.
I don't have a preference for Man U or Liverpool overall, but I'll be rooting for 'Pool today.
