Wine conundrum
«

So I was at the supermarket earlier and saw a bottle of wine I wanted to buy that was on offer, there were only two bottles left.
Both were exactly the same except one was a 2014 with a cork and one 2015 with a screw top. Which do you go for, and why?

Both, and try to determine if there is any difference. Video the experience because you probably won’t remember the next day.

We'll need loads more information. Grape variety, country of origin, what you hope to get out of it, for starters.

This seems like good advice.

They were exactly the same bottle i.e. Same country/make/label (I didn't check the reverse though).

unless they were Liebfraumilch and under £4 don't waste your money on them and instead take 30 seconds out your life and search out a bottle of Liebfraumilch instead
Problem solved

Tell us a little more about the cepage, terroir, domaine, vintage, etc.

Ha, excellent.
I'm scared to post my thoughts on that thread.
