Do you think the built and decorated the whole place, asked someone what they thought and they said...

"Great, I love the whole European 19th century palatial swizz of it all, if I had one criticism it would be that there aren't enough gaudy guitars on the wall"

...but the Yanks didn't really get the sarcasm and took the critique at face value.

what i'd like to see is top names, they will sell it, if you could drag an helmuth or Matusow in you w ill double your cash before it's started.
You also need a cliffhanger, in BB there is something to play for, a prize at the end, a reason to be affable.
You propose a house full of peeps that are going to play in the wsop main event regardless.
How about they may not, depending on results of games within the house?
It looks like you are thinking of having Jen and Maria, why not make them mud wrestle for it?
It would make good telly Cheesy
I agree with the comp entry, how about having an online comp each week for an event?
There are a lot of comps throughout  the life of the house, an online winner to enter the biggest comp each week + expenses + a week in the house.
I absolutley believe that the people who start should be well known.

Do you think if Bill Gates got laid in high school, do you think there'd be a Microsoft?
Of course not.
