Hi Alex,

Played on the same table as you last night in the beginners comp. at DTD, I was the guy on the first table that got it in with TT vs. AQs and got out flopped by the quad queens. Was great to get the opportunity to play against a pro for a small buy-in, but what I was more impressed with was your willingness to give out advice and genuine enjoyment you seemed to have for the game.

Thank you for this, despite getting on the wrong end of some shitty variance it still felt as though I got something out of the night (also re-raising you with junk and getting you to fold helped a bit Wink )

Ah nice one mate. Nice to read, that. Pretty much exactly the sort of impression I wanted to leave so that's cool. My enjoyment was genuine for sure and I definitely got something out of the experience as well.

You weren't the only one to reraise me with junk- the lady in seat two who hit quads against you and only seemed to play the nuts 3bet me preflop, I had A3o so folded saying "I think you've got me beat" then she turns over Cheesy Then did a little dance and fistpump Cheesy

She went on to come 2nd!

Btw, how did you track me down?!

Also, anyone using the term 'variance' should not be in the beginners tournament!

Gl with the degree, finish it! Cheesy
