FAYI

Pat Nevin: Batshuayi was more clinical than Harry Kane and can spearhead Chelsea's front line in place of Morata http://dailym.ai/2vgdAXL

Any views on CBB Chomps ?

None as yet. Don't know enough about most of those going in to play. Danan will probably get most of the airtime though. Complete loon. Might even have a chance these days and perhaps was just ahead of his time when he went on Love Island.

Sure we'll find a bet at some stage though.

Anyone seen anything about when the RP football season supplement comes out?

The full list of contestants is as follows:

Sarah Harding
Shaun Williamson
Jemma Lucy
Derek Acorah
Amelia Lily
Paul Danan
Jordan Davies
Helen Lederer
Brandi Glanville
Chad Johnson
Trisha Paytas
Sam Thompson
Marissa Jade
Sandi Bogle
Rosanna Davison
Karthik Nagesan

Karthik was tv gold on the apprentice, looks a pretty good line up.

How many of those could people state who they are on that list and what they are/were famous for?  I can name only one.  Is it just the fact i am seriously old or are these people not famous at all generally?
Child please...Thought chad johnson was ochocinco of nfl fame, very disappointed 😔

Ochocinco would be gold on BB.

I might even have watched.

Wow, that looks a pretty severe restriction on coral.

I read that differently David. We wanted £25 EW, got restricted to £15 EW with PP @ 11/1, so he took the balance of £25 EW at Coral.

I don't think so.  Maybe it is part caused by Zelzal dropping in price? It was 12.5/13 earlier this morning and is now 10.5/11.   I don't think it is good news at all though.

For those that can Scuy's 12-1 about Posh scoring 80+ league goals this season is luvverly.

From having a garbage front-line last season to Jack Marriott, Ricky Miller and a fit Junior Morias...chalk and cheese.

There was a lot of squabbling between cliques last season and all the bad eggs have been shipped out. Steven Taylor and Alex Penny are excellent signings at the back, as is Doughty in midfield alongside a now-happy Anthony Grant.

No idea where we'll finish but it won't be dull.
To guarantee you the win I'll just post that I thought Marriott and Miller were pretty average at Luton.

FWIW Miller was absolutely fantastic at Dover, playing in a very workmanlike team he still crushed the goalscoring charts in a tough division. Great work ethic and superb finisher. He'll have to keep the work ethic (which I don't believe he has been known for previously) to have any chance in League One, but I hope he does well.

Miller is from the fens area and was a Posh fan as a youngster. He'll know this is his last chance to make it in the FL and his attitude has been spot on pre-season. Likewise the other two strikers. Morias is the one that's so easy to pull for, absolutely loves being out there, playing football for a living. Compared to last season, when Tom Nichols was a target for the booboys, Morias was two stone over and Angol just mooched around...good times ahead.

Settlement Day

A day late, my apologies.

If you are owed monies by Fred for bets placed in July, let me know please, & I'll settle up by return. Pretty sure I owe Lisa a lump, but I'm sure there are others, too.

Those who are holding small balances in my favour which can be used for future bets, (Rod Paradise & several others), please hold onto it for now for future use.

Thank you.
