Guys a meh reg. 31/19 over 500 hands pre. I think hes pretty poor and have done so for a while. He snap shoved river. I think different regs will have different views on me. I'm 9/5 over 48 at this point.

Humour me:

- why didn't you raise the flop to protect your hand? You have blockers and we don't like blue cards on the turn, so why not charge for that service? Fairly likely you're getting action from draws, after all.
- what was your reasoning for bet sizing on the river? Is a check/call something you would consider with hindsight?
- what do you think Villain puts you on?

I really enjoy this game but at a much lower level. Interesting hand for us recs

There are too many bad turns. I only get it in vs topset and monster draws. I'm happy to let weak hands in behind and underrep my hand.

I'm in position on the river. I felt like he wouldn't give me credit for having too many big houses so I could bet quite big. I'm now worried he shoved K4xx Sad  Not a very good lead if thats what he had though.

Something ok but not great. Maybe a Qflush, probably a small boat. He didn't seem too bothered about what I had, which is the worrying thing.

this looks like a very well played hand, not a fan of raising the flop really in an MTT as you didn't.

I know we block some combos of KK and JJ however he is repping those hands and VERY VERY VERY unlikely to be bluffing, so the blockers aren't actually all that relevant, where they are relevant in spots like this is for value-betting, so if for e.g we had KJT4 and were in two minds about VB (actually an easy vbet but for examples sake) our blockers would make us more inclinded to VBET than if we just had AJ94 or w/e. And ofc we block no diamonds.

I might have bet a little smaller OTR as we are targeting flushes and board pair is scary, but that aside WP WP imo

Thanks for the answers, chaps. I think the key for me is SuuPRlim's comment that villain is very unlikely to be bluffing. C/R on the river is something I generally get suspicious of, particularly when up against someone who's shown no aggression in the hand such as you/we are.

If he had 44, for example (I know, but bear with me - say A44x), he could play the hand this way, as he's fairly likely to think we've filled up on the end. Would we really VBet a queen flush, here? That's just a general question, I suppose, by an Omaha weakling who is happy to check behind when the board pairs. I suppose I miss value there if I've checked twice, mind, even though I need to find a caller who will muck afterwards.

I dont think we should Vbet the Qflush here, I think when we vbet this river with our FH we are specifically targetting the NF (or a stubborn small flush) - if he somehow has a 444** boat himself then happy days as I can't see him ever folding that.
