Bah, Gramp's fingers quicker.
19 seconds, but it's enough.
Good to see we thought alike though.

Also ate quite a lot of home-cured bacon.

Ha, love the use of the term "mass" instead of fat.
To be more serious now, I'm just 1lb lighter than you. I've been busting a gut to lose weight, via diet & regular exercise, & I just cant shift it like I used to be able to.
Well done on dropping 12lbs though, that's really impressive.

It's over 3 months though so <1lb per week.
Busting a gut is probably the wrong approach....

Hi Ade.
Unfortunately I did have to cheat. I went to the Derbyshire Dales and a horse drawn journey would have meant a two week round trip and I just didn't have the time to spare.
Also I had my Granddaughters with me and travelling with a horse drawn caravan on today's roads is just too dangerous. I've been to three funerals in the last two years because friends of mine were killed while driving horses on the road.
The problem is the traffic is doing 70mph and you're doing 4mph, which is effectively like being stationary. By the time they realise you are not doing the same speed they are, it's too late for them to stop.
Even if no one runs into the back of you it isn't long before someone who has been stuck behind squeezes past, hooting the horn and hurling abuse. (sometimes, abuse isn't all they hurl)

What a fab pic Tom. Is that a rental or is it the families caravan?

Looks good.
Some truly ignorant questions coming up, so I hope not to cause offence by asking.
How do you choose where to go for something like this? Is it land owned by people you know? Do you contact farmers in the area and make arrangements to rent the use of a field for a period of time?
Whilst I appreciate it's a completely different community to yours, I'm seeing more and more measures by councils near me (or perhaps even local residents) to prevent vehicular access to public land: grass verges that were never there before or hefty concrete blocks making the park look ridiculous. I expect communities discuss suitable sites and share information on social media. Are the options reducing? What does that mean for people who've only ever moved about from place to place?
I've no doubt it's a vote winner for the councillor who proposed it and that they're delighted with the results.

Hi Tal.
I appreciate the questions and I will try to answer them as best I can, but first, can you clarify the bolded bit for me please?
