Jen Mason adds another 35k to her stack. A chap made it 3,800 to play, Jen 3bets to 8,500, matey makes it 20k leaving only about 8k behind.
Jen does tank a little bit but eventually says CALL rather than all-in to put the guy all in. They agree to get it all in pre-though and matey is gutted to see Jen's JACKS seeing as he has TENS. No drama's as the board runs out

Some local player news
Alan Trueick is the chip leader after taking A-Q versus Michael Murphy's J-J and seeing the sort of flop you quite like when racing overs v pair: A-A-5
The magnificently named Zsomber Gall was far from sombre, or galled, when he bust Peter Krikkay's K-K with 4-4 on a 10-4-2 board. Krikkay had raised in E-P and Zsomber called on the button
Peter Murphy (Irish, who'd have thought?) cracked the Aces of Samuel Lehtonen (Finnish, finished) with K-10 that turned two pair on an innocuous looking board

Joey Lovelady and James Mitchell join the feature table with Andy Black
First hand up Mitchell raises the button, Lovelady short-stack ships the big blind with K-Q
Mitchell calls with K-K
Queen on the flop, but no further help and Mitchell goes from strength to strength

Instant gratification. Just hovered around Toby chatting about everything but poker then this happens:
Matey raises 4,100 in middle position, Toby insta makes it 12,000, matey insta goes all in and has Toby covered. Toby insta called.
Toby
Matey
("always a sweat")
blank blank.
Toby doubles up to 105,000

We have lost Jonothon Butters who struggled all day and shoved A7 into KINGS.
That leaves only one DTD qualifier still in the Irish Open, in the name of Jason Herbert. Shame he doesn't get anything for last man standing.
I hour Dinner Break now!
Currently about 101 players left.

100 players exactly return in 20 minutes, average stack 70,800. blinds 1000-2000/200. The bubble (73rd) is looming on the horizon, so things are about to get tense!

Toby Lewis has just busted, after getting lower than his 100k high. All in preflop with 77's but up against QQ. A queen on the flop sealed the deal and Toby busts in about 78th just 6 players shy of the money.
There are now 77 players left and the announcement just tells us that we will now play on until we reached 72 players.

Obv with 8 tables playing hand for hand it is kinda sloooooow.
We have had our first all in and call. It was raised in early position to 5,200. Called by one of the chip leaders Janne Nevalainen. His neighbour Esref Govsa with 35k more went all in. The original raiser passes and Janne is left to dwell, not really wanting to call. I think his chip stack dictated his eventual call plus possibly the fact of 5 TV camera's shoved in his face. Anyway
Janne had
Esref had
The board came
with some ooooooo's from the crowd, then
Esref doubles and the bubble continues with 2 more still to bust.

Anthony Reilly pushes with Aces
Jannie Neuvelainen makes another interesting call with Jh9h
board comes 5-7-7h-Qh-5h and Reilly is out in 74th
Now the real hand for hand can start!
