Table Wernick - big hand between Pete Linton and Rana Gurnam from Cardiff.

Flop goes    Pete bets 2075 into a pot of 3500. Rana calls.

Turn  . Rana bets 4k leaving him 9925 behind. Pete calls.

River   . Rana goes all in for his 9925. Pete calls, insta mucks when he sees Rana's   .

Nice pot for Rana.

During all this Lord Wernick is trying to push the action on. As Rana dwells after the turn Lord W is asking "Who's it on?" just to get everything moving - it works - Rana made his move.

Another tip from the Lord.

Is it me or that played like a donk?
Did he raise with Q8 off or call the raise?
Then calls a flop bet with nothing?

I don't know what Pete had - he didn't show - but yes Rana called the bet of 2075 with Q8. Perhaps he thought he was going to make a move post flop - try and outplay Pete - I don't know.

Did he play like a Donk? I'm not sure - if he wanted to make a move he then found he didn't need to when he hit a card.

You'll have to make up your own mind on that one.

It's getting to that point in that evening when we're not seeing many flops - lots of button raises and the blinds folding. We're off to get some chip counts while Tighty and Bongo wait for breakfast to arrive.

I have overdosed on caffine and cola and feeling a bit sick - either that it it's being in Tighty's and Bongo's company for so long. I must admit that I haven't laughed so much for ages - anyway on with the game.....

We took a wander to get some chip counts and caught the tail end of the following hand between Richard Berridge and Micky Wernick

The board AK68K.

Berridge had bet the river and Micky raised. After a bit of a dwell Berridge passes saying he was giving Micky respect and shows AQ.

Micky shows 1 card... an 8!

Also saw Raj Dhiri treble up with A9 v K8 v Rag 3 (maybe a 7 or 10!), he hit his 9 and the rest of the board was blank. On 9k, his highest all night!

Counts:
Richard Berridge 42k
Pat Kelley 46k
Raj Dhiri 9k
Ben Callinan 40k
Hongji Liu 14k
Imran McKenzie 14k
Micky Wernick 36k
Stephen Walmsley 11k

And as I was typing this Raj doubles up again with A9 v A10, so must be on 18k or so now!
