Basharat Mahmood raises the button but folds to Ryan Moone's reraise all-in, the latter showing A-J.
Mark Docherty raises to 72k in the small blind but folds to Phillip Toomer's reraises to 250k.
Sam Trickett gets a walk in the big blind, he shows the
but I think he gets lots of walks because he's sponsored by this shampoo...

Seat Five: Arjanit Kondaj - 114k
Arjanit is short-stacked with less than six big blinds, but as most of the final tablists will attest to, he is under no pressure to move just yet, and can happily fold for a few rounds before waiting to find AA and doubling through to three big blinds.
Patience young padawan!
Seat Six: Aaron Fisher - 0k
Aaron may struggle to make an impact on this final given he is already out. Good game sir, but there's always hope! For the sake of completeness, here is his picture.
Seat Seven: Basharat Mahmood - 520k
Already doubled through, Basharat does not spend his time wallopping rodents as his name might suggest. Instead he has built up a large, vocal fan base here in Nottingham who cheered effusively as he virtually felted Fisher moments ago.
Seat Eight: Hiren Kanabar - 263k
Hiren was the man who went doolally after doubling through earlier to sub ten big blinds. Should he win, he will almost certainly need a change of underwear. Or if he is asked to pay by cash or cheque by a pretty supermarket attendant. Or if his alarm goes off. Or if he eats a grape. etc etc etc.
Seat Nine: Ryan Moon - 588k
Ryan comes into the final as the chip leader and will be a big threat for the title. Can anyone cause a lunar eclipse and blot out the moon. We wait with bated breath to find out...

FINA TABLISTS!:
Seat One:
Mark Docherty - 375k
BIO: Mark was raised in the jungle. He likes to swing lazily off branches and lie about in his spare time. His poker MO is to min raise then fold off 12 BB stacks. Has a loyal group of supporters on the rail.
Seat Two:
Philip Toomer 555k
Philip was abandoned as a child and raised by a pack of wild ducks. His upbringing has resulted in some unusual character quirks. He likes to cover himself with feathers occasionally and instead of announcing raise, he will often quack loudly.
He carries a lucky plastic duck with him at all times at the poker table.
Seat Three:
Sam
Trickett
- 211k
Perhaps the best known of our finalists,
Sam
Trickett
has a quality poker pedigree behind him, having won a GUKPT and very nearly picked up a WSOP bracelet in 2008.
He'll be a tough man to beat if he can get chips.
Seat Four:
Toby Lewis - 357k
Most famous for the headgear he stole off Poochie the dog, Toby has shown himself to be an unusual character today by showing an ability to play poker well. I'm sure this bad character flaw will be ironed out of him before long and he will learn the key poker traits of nitrolling, folding to 4 BBs, min raise folding preflop and dwelling needlessly for hours.
Popssibly a little harsh, here is a REAL picture of Mark Docherty.
And Philip Toomer.
And Toby Lewis.

With the blinds at 12k/24k Hiren Kanabar makes it the old fashioned 125k to play, thinning out anyone who might play back at him with junk. Sam Trickett moves all in for about 175k total and Kanabar looks unhappy but calls.
Trickett shows
to Kanabar's
and says, "My sixth race, about time I won one..."
Sam Trickett is out in
8th
place winning

The quickfire elimination of Aaron Fisher and
Sam
Trickett
has not exactly acted as a catalyst for a wave of action, but Toby was recently seen re-raising Mark Docherty. He should have known better than to get in a pot with Mark as the phones in
DT
D
started ringing themselves off the hook as the public clamoured to donate to the DWELL-A-THON that was now in effect.
Mark entered the tank and didn't re-surface for some time, contemplating his time in the jungle and playing through every event he had ever experienced in his life before until, after a short period of five or six hours, he eventually bravely committed himself to the fold.
More chips for Toby, who a now-railing
Nick
Hicks
admitted had impressed him when they played together before.

Ryan Moone raises on the button to 75k and takes the blinds.
Hiren Kanabar raises to 84k from midposition and takes the blinds. Most pots are being taken down uncontested now.
Whole lot of nitting going on.

Duckman Can't Quack his Opponent's Hand
Arjanit Kondaj has just doubled through!
Shipping in his shortstack with A-Q, he got action from Philip Toomer aka Duckman, whose
was behind and continued to be so as a flop with a queen on it rolled off.
Up to 250k or so now, his mini stack has turned into a whopping ten big blinds now!
The stacks are pretty small really and you would think it won't be too long before some sort of deal is proposed, given the volatile nature of shallow-stacked endgames...

Archinit...Sorry...Arjanit Kondaj is the real stuck in the mud in the deal.
He refused to deal and demanded £10k or no deal.
They then tried another deal:
15 1 Mark Docherty -- £7,000
15 2 Phillip Toomer -- £9,000
15 4 Toby Lewis -- £9,000
15 5 Arjanit Kondaj -- £8,000
15 7 Basharat Mahmood -- £10,000
15 8 Hiren Kanabar -- £10,000
15 9 Ryan Moone -- £11,000
Again, Kondaj said no and everyone else said yes, but after a couple of minutes thought, eventually he agreed. They're giving £1,400 to the dealers and playing for £6,000.
