We'll aim to begin the draft this evening, and it'll be done via this thread rather than on the Yahoo message boards this season.  I will then manually update the results on Yahoo once it's concluded.  This will enable us all to use the clock on the message posts to determine when the deadlines are up.

24 hours per pick as last year (please do it quicker if feasible).  When you're on the clock, just post in this thread your pick and who you're dropping.  The timing of your first attempt will start the clock on the next manager.  If your pick is invalid for any reason (e.g. you've picked a non-rookie) then you can correct this, but any other valid picks that have taken place in the meantime will still count (so  you might miss out on someone if you're not careful).

Once the 24 hours expires, the next manager is automatically on the clock and can make their pick.  Expired picks can be caught up at any time by that manager simply posting to make their pick, but any picks made in the interim are still valid.  Expired picks do not affect the timing of whoever is on the clock at that time.  Picks cannot be traded once the clock has expired on them.

The timing of the blondepoker clock posts are the relevant source of all timings, and I will adjudicate any disputes (not that I'm expecting any).

A manager can opt to pass on their next pick at any time, at which point they will drop out of the draft for that pick and all subsequent ones.  The draft will end when all managers have opted to pass their remaining picks.  I will then update the draft results on Yahoo and officially kick off the season.  If feasible this will begin with a waiver wire, so that all managers get an equal shot at the first post-draft player pool after which the normal player pickup rules will kick in.

The first pick will be officially on the clock from 7pm this evening.  I'll keep an official pick list updated on the site and here on the thread when feasible to update it.  This is merely to give everyone an easy reference point of what's happened and will not affect any timings as per the above process.  The timing of your own posts stating your picks are what's relevant.

I'll also do a chase for outstanding monies via PM later on.  I've seen some come through, but everyone seems to have confirmed that they're staying in so I'm not planning to delay the draft until all monies are paid.  I'll set a deadline for payment in due course, after which any non-payers will be replaced from the waiting list, but I'm not expecting any issues.

I've updated some rosters to select keepers for those who hadn't yet done so.  In most cases it was easy, as you had 30 or less players so it was just a case of selecting all of them.

The one exception is bobby1's roster.  Phil - can you give me the names of the 3 players you want to leave as non-keepers and I'll select the other 30 for you (I don't think you have the option to do it yourself now).

The first hurdle I've discovered is that no-one can propose trades until I release the teams, which I can only do after I've posted draft results!  Once bobby1 gives me his non-keepers I'm going to kick off the league by posting a blank draft, which will allow trades to be offered.  The draft picks can then be added via free agent pickups.

Doesn't impact the draft process here though, so we're just awaiting news from the 1st War Room.  Hopefully the 24hr window gives him time to see this, but can always intervene if there's a risk of his pick expiring without him being aware.
