It's a blonde-dominated week on 425, including the following.....

Interviews from Blackpool with a whole bunch of guys, including blondeites Thewy, Iwan Jones (2 of them!, he's "oi Oi Saveloy"), Micky Wernick (2), Mick McCloskey ("headcase"), & Big Trevor Reardon.

Part 2 has an in-depth with blondeite J P Kelly, and  I BET you cannot guess who he names as the player that most impresses him.

We also have, wait for it, a rather super-duper Profile of none other than our Jen - that one is short, but really quite wonderful.

There is also a feature on Micky Wernick's results over the last 4 years, & some chat & stuff.

Is Blondite a Blonde poker forum invented word?   Will Victoria Coren be doing a feature on it in a few years time on Balderdash?  If so, who is the inventor of this word.... Who was the first to use it.  Tikay, Red, Tightend, Heid?   maybe Ironside. 



Or is it an actual word that I hadn't seen before coming onto Blonde? 

blondiete should always be used with a small "b".

I think we have to give credit to tikay as inventor.

I expect it to enter the OED in about 2008, alongside norkage.

OED has B next to N? no wonder my spelling's crap!

Norkage will actually appear next to the word breast in brackets and therefore yes it will appear alongside blondite....

(So my monkey writing friend at the OED tells me)

It's blondeite. You'd think they could spell it by now.......

Wise old monkey scholar always taught me "i before e except after c". Therefore my tiny monkey brain cannot cope with spelling a word that breaks the old monkey proverb.

I will take the new word and will right 50 lines on the blackboard with my piece of chalk "the members of the blonde forum are known as blondeites" and maybe it will stick......
