By renaming the betting tips board to include sports discussion we free up a lot of space on the general discussion board. Kinda makes sense if you think about it.

We arent adding a new board, just expanding the betting & sports one.

It is open for discussion, But IMHO it is a good move.

Thats a whole new thread for you to make :)

I like this idea.  Sports and betting board= Good

Though the footie threads will get in the way of the betting tips..........

I think its a good idea.. especially with the world cup coming up, saves people who dont really care about football from getting bombarded with the same old stuff, as was becoming the case

No, Kev, you are wrong. Iron meant "take care", but it was a typo. Proberly.

Iron did not move or rename the Board except in the physical sense - it was a collective Mods decision. Normallly, we would announce it first, but, by a matter of seconds, it was done the other way round this time. I think they wanted to get it done & dusted before I arrived on the scene, & they managed it with minutes to spare!

I have been offline for a day or two, & the Mods have, sensibly, worked out that they can get decisions through quicker & with less hassle when I'm not about. I'm a notorious "let's think about it-er".....
