Title: Re: Hello Post by: Splash on July 27, 2005, 07:57:40 PM I must ask! Is this the sort of unsavoury character we want on blonde?
The sort of character who, when his home cash game is one short, will not pick up the phone and invite.. erm someone round because .. "He wants to keep it soft!!" :( G'day Rob! Your productivity will go down even further now your have two forums to clutter up! Title: Re: Hello Post by: Highstack on July 28, 2005, 12:48:50 AM Fistly thank you for all your kind welcoming messages. Now to respond to your questions:
I have occasionally played at Walsall, a little intimidated as this is my first stab at proper live tournaments and thus far without success. I have entered the rebuy 25 on Sunday's but I am not use to this format. I think my next stab will be at one of the freezeout tournaments there (quite possibly going to Luton for the cheaper event of the festival on the Monday too). A little about myself; I am 32, married no children. I work as a purchasing officer for company local to me in Warwick. I love poker anything to do with the game. I have been playing on line for around 18mths - 2 years and need to start taking it seriously. Currently my talent is no more than average, but I am well read and always striving to improve. Those who know me realise that my biggest problems lie away from poker in other forms of gambling (something that needs to be eradicated before I can ever be serious about my game). I play mainly tournaments and although I have had some mtt success, stt's are still my only overall profitable area to date. My poker goals are fairly straight forward in that whilst in full time employment, I am only concerned with it not costing me too much. My target for the next 12 months is to win entry to a televised or package event (like aruba or cpc :D) and play with the stars. Title: Re: Hello Post by: Robert HM on July 28, 2005, 12:57:45 AM Typos are fine, makes you feel at home as nobody should be perfect spelers all the time.
However if you ever see a humungous error there is a "modify" button you can use. |
