Post by: Hairydude on May 12, 2006, 10:01:19 PM He has actually signed if u go through the rangers website archive u'll find it- its a 3 year contract- the reason he never came over on monday was because of the media circus awaiting at glasgow airport- so he negotiated the release of Kyriakos and signing of furnam from france and hes conducting our signings from there for the time being

I was hoping we would have Riordan in for the start of next season instead we have done it in typical Celtic fashion and went for it on the cheap. I would have hoped that the club had tried to sort out some amicable comp for Hibs. After all it will go to a tribunal and IMO its in Celtic best interest to pay the cash Iw ould reckon 350 at this late stage ia a fair offer after all Hibs wanted 500k in January from Rangers, I am sure they would settle for that.
By the time next January comes Riordan is likely to be a full international that will increase his value as soon as this goes to a tribunal. |
