Title: The WillHill Grandprix - Sunday Night
Post by: NoflopsHomer on July 28, 2005, 10:41:08 PM
Has anyone else signed up for this yet?

I just got my seat via a sattelite tourney first time of trying. Flopped the nut straight with AK in my first hand and took all the chips from a fish who called my initial raise with K9. When I got to the final table in 3rd place (4 go thru) I watched with a degree of hilarity as the third placed player proceeded to bluff all his chips in one hand to one of the two large stacks. I did get worried when said large stacks then procceeded to bluff at every single hand, doubling up two of the short stacks, making me a little nervous, doesn't anyone know how to play in these situations? Got thru eventually though. I'd recommend the sattelite though, my opponents seemed very easy.  ;D
