Title: Re: Best ever Big Brother contestant Post by: tikay on May 19, 2006, 01:57:04 AM Oh great, another BB thread...... Title: Re: Best ever Big Brother contestant Post by: Sark79 on May 19, 2006, 02:09:10 AM I haven't really seen alot of BigBrother. I thought it was a person for the first year it was on.
One person that does stand out is the Blonde Irish Lady from last year. Wow she was nice. ( don't know her name ) Title: Re: Best ever Big Brother contestant Post by: Royal Flush on May 19, 2006, 02:46:38 AM Oh great, another BB thread...... my sentiments....can we put them somewhere else? This do? Title: Re: Best ever Big Brother contestant Post by: tikay on May 19, 2006, 02:55:25 AM Not really Flushy, unless we start a Child Board for TV, & we are all worried about the proliferation of Child Boards. blonde is a broad church, & we need to be aware that many of us have different tastes, & we need to accommoate all of them. I poke a little fun at the TV Addicts, but that's all it is, just jesting. I never watch TV, & am a little non-plussed that some of the shows, which are, in my opinion, shallow & dross, cause so much interest & excitement. But those who enjoy them can justifiably poke fun at my hobbies, trains & trees & birds & animals, & whatever. Ultimately, I don't have to view the threads containing TV comment. Each to their own, & all that, but I do understand your point here. Title: Re: Best ever Big Brother contestant Post by: tikay on May 19, 2006, 02:56:16 AM (http://www.headington.org.uk/pics/local_services/dustbin.jpg) This do? Nice one Floppy. Take a bow. Title: Re: Best ever Big Brother contestant Post by: tikay on May 19, 2006, 03:31:22 AM They have trains & trees & birds & animals, & whatever on telly too That's true, which is why it perplexes me even more that some people find BB7, & Deal or No Deal, or Lost, entertaining. Each to their own, I suppose. Deal or No Deal, jeeeeez! It's so damn shallow & artificial. IMO, that is....... I must confess to a passion for the Simpsons, which is, to me entertaining on several levels. I saw it yesterday while in London. & nearly split my sides laughing when Homer was doing his Mr Burns impersonation, & was asked his first name. In his best Mr Burn's voice, he replied "I D-O-N-T K-N-O-W......" Title: Re: Best ever Big Brother contestant Post by: tikay on May 19, 2006, 03:32:13 AM flushy you can find your board at www.fishyflushesmoaningsasusaul.com I think he (Flushy) has a fair point, but I'm buggered if I know the answer. Title: Re: Best ever Big Brother contestant Post by: bobby1 on May 19, 2006, 05:12:54 AM There is a danger that the poker forum becomes a forum, there are a lot of unpoker threads each day that can be very entertaining but I suppose it is a general discussion board.
The Betfair forum used to be a good place to discuss sports bets and events, these days you are lucky to get 10% of the threads on there posted in a civil manner let alone be about sport or bets, that would never happen here but I rarely use that forum anymore because it has become packed with unrelated, non gambling discussions. I like a bit of a mix myself but with BB7 and the World Cup coming up it might get very cluttered around here. Title: Re: Best ever Big Brother contestant Post by: snoopy1239 on May 19, 2006, 05:14:08 AM Oh yeah, nearly fogot...
Nick Bateman, no question really, got the ball rolling. I suppose I must reluctantly admit that Jade Goody comes a close second. Title: Re: Best ever Big Brother contestant Post by: Ironside on May 19, 2006, 05:16:31 AM we survived BB last year with only a few threads and the world cup will be all on the sports board
if needs must we will work things out to insure that GD keeps a healthy mix of fun and poker Title: Re: Best ever Big Brother contestant Post by: bobby1 on May 19, 2006, 05:25:12 AM we survived BB last year with only a few threads and the world cup will be all on the sports board if needs must we will work things out to insure that GD keeps a healthy mix of fun and poker cool. With the exception of live football and poker shows, our general has in one statement, just 'dissed' the only three shows that I watch on tv! :( (Btw Nasty Nick was the best ever house mate, but I would prefer to spend tim with Orlaih or Kate :) Yummy yummy! ) |
