I haven't really seen alot of BigBrother.  I thought it was a person for the first year it was on.

One person that does stand out is the Blonde Irish Lady from last year.  Wow she was nice. ( don't know her name )

Not really Flushy, unless we start a Child Board for TV, & we are all worried about the proliferation of Child Boards.

blonde is a broad church, & we need to be aware that many of us have different tastes, & we need to accommoate all of them.

I poke a little fun at the TV Addicts, but that's all it is, just jesting.

I never watch TV, & am a little non-plussed that some of the shows, which are, in my opinion, shallow & dross, cause so much interest & excitement. But those who enjoy them can justifiably poke fun at my hobbies, trains & trees & birds & animals, & whatever.

Ultimately, I don't have to view the threads containing TV comment.

Each to their own, & all that, but I do understand your point here.

My fear is the general forum gets turned into the BB forum for the next 3 months.

That's true, which is why it perplexes me even more that some people find BB7, & Deal or No Deal, or Lost, entertaining. Each to their own, I suppose. Deal or No Deal, jeeeeez! It's so damn shallow & artificial. IMO, that is.......

I must confess to a passion for the Simpsons, which is, to me entertaining on several levels. I saw it yesterday while in London. & nearly split my sides laughing when Homer was doing his Mr Burns impersonation, & was asked his first name. In his best Mr Burn's voice, he replied "I D-O-N-T  K-N-O-W......"

I find the actions and thought process of human beings a lot more intriguing than anything trains could offer...

There is a danger that the poker forum becomes a forum, there are a lot of unpoker threads each day that can be very entertaining but I suppose it is a general discussion board.

The Betfair forum used to be a good place to discuss sports bets and events, these days you are lucky to get 10% of the threads on there posted in a civil manner let alone be about sport or bets, that would never happen here but I rarely use that forum anymore because it has become packed with unrelated, non gambling discussions.

I like a bit of a mix myself but with BB7 and the World Cup coming up it might get very cluttered around here.

Oh yeah, nearly fogot...

Nick Bateman, no question really, got the ball rolling.

I suppose I must reluctantly admit that Jade Goody comes a close second.

we survived BB last year with only a few threads and the world cup will be all on the sports board

if needs must we will work things out to insure that GD keeps a healthy mix of fun and poker

I think that I am going to cry. With the exception of live football and poker shows, our general has in one statement, just 'dissed' the only three shows that I watch on tv! :(

(Btw Nasty Nick was the best ever house mate, but I would prefer to spend tim with Orlaih or Kate :) Yummy yummy! )
