Title: Brian Wilson has a LOT to answer for
Post by: Mr F on May 20, 2006, 02:57:34 PM
So first of all I get to CHeltenham on Thursday read the program and find out that Cheltenhams player of the year is Brian Wilson.  SHould have figured that as a bad sign from the start really!  Obviously Wycombe lost.

Then to top it all, we had our end of season do for the pub foootie team last night.  After the presentation by Wycombe's right back (someone commented that I'd been on TV more during the game than he had) we started a quick game, I managed to get shortstacked and stuck my last 1500 in with AQ.  Three of us in the pot.  The other two keep betting.  But I'm sure the ace on the flop is good.  I didn't spot the 7 and the 4 next to it.  No prizes for guessing what won the hand.  Two pair, the full wilson.

I mwoulddn't normally be bothered by the pub boys wouldn't know a poker forum if one slapped them in the face.  Let alone the WSOP, so the guy had no ideas of that hands mystical powers!!
