Note that in Luton's recent results the "bad cop" himself, Richard "Tight End" Prew has been cleaning up. Well done Tighty. More of the same please. :) Title: Re: Results Post by: snoopy1239 on May 22, 2006, 07:39:33 PM ;applause;
Yes, I noticed a few cashes from Tighty, although... numbers seem to be dwindling at Luton. Any specific reason? Title: Re: Results Post by: TightEnd on May 22, 2006, 07:51:15 PM This has been much discussed recently
Monday and Friday nights were killed by the big comps at the Sportsman in London Wednesdays are affected by the Jennings games at Bishops Stortford, with added money, and the re-opening of Harlow So in essence, its new competition That apart numbers are good on Tues, Thurs, Sat and Sun...Saturday saw 71 runners, Sunday 50 etc Luton are going to make their Friday game smaller to a £50 rebuy and change Wednesday's game too to make it more competitive Finally it is worth noting how tough Luton is...of the 50 runners last thursday for a £20 rebuy we decided 35 out of the 50 were festival names like Alterman, JP, Buffenbarger, Khajuria etc Its not surprising that people go to games like B Stortford where the standard is weaker. Finally finally, I had one of my bursts...6 out of 7 comps I finalled in and won or chopped 4. the offical figures are pre deals so don't quite reflect this. Title: Re: Results Post by: Royal Flush on May 22, 2006, 08:20:06 PM N1 tighty!
Although just because they are regular festival players does not make them good.....plenty of the regular players have no chance of winning Title: Re: Results Post by: TightEnd on May 22, 2006, 08:22:25 PM point taken, but I know the point I was trying to make but didn't make properly. You get my point?

I do believe luton is a high standard, higher than most places, but a good player in a 500 freeze might be a fish in a 20 rebuy aswell....
