Monday night sees the 6th of the monthly "tikay Tourneys" on Sporting Odds.com.

Only $10 to enter, & they add $1,000, plus a $100 Bounty on me. Usually makes about 100 runners, so effectively, entry is free.

They use the "ever slowing clock" structure too.

11 registered so far, including 3 or 4 blondes.

I do hope you join me, it's generally a good comp.

I have just realised there is ALSO a blonde League Tourney tonight, also at 8pm! 15 minute levels, $10 + $1.

I have not seen any "noise" about it anywhere maybe I just missed it.

Which one should you play? You pays yer money, & you takes yer choice.....

I am gonna play both, but I hope plenty of you play at least one of them.

Shame about the league, would've liked to have a go but i could only make 6 out of 12 so no good.

I will try both maybe, the blonde one is more important to me but the idea of 2 soft bounties just makes the mouth water.

At least one player at my table is raising on every hand, as soon as it gives me something respectable I will probably be out.

was 2nd with 11k

then got in a 15k pot with AK vAQ on a King high flop who spiked a straight and proceeded to give me a hideous rubdown

it winds me up so much when people do that but trying not to tilt as still have 4k

I'm 18th was 5/42 then my J9 which looked good on a 4497J board looked a bit puny vs foes 77 :)

 My foe was from ThaArchi fromToledo. He wasn't too chatty. I got AK vs AT and 22 vs AJ on a AQ2 flop to get my chips. 20 left and I'm going steady with 36000+  400/800 next level I think...

Funnily enough if you passed I call. Obviously my NL game is rusty but your call to me signalled AA KK or AK the hands you had been showing.

Great stuff, & I'm soooo pleased that the blondes figured so prominently. (Except me...)

The next one is June 26th, same time, same place. Not bad value, $1,000 added, for a 100 runner $10 comp. 

And yes, Redsimon won the tikay Bounty.

But I had lost most of my chips a few hands earlier, with QQ. I R'd pre-flop BIG - you HAVE to when there is a bounty on you - and got 1 caller, Rag flop, I bet, she calls. Rag turn, I bet, she calls. Ace on river, I check, she checks., & shows A-3......!

But, bizarrely, she chatted me up for a date! She is gonna fly from Denmark, where she lives (!), for a poker weekend with me. (she suggests....) But she has to fly back at 7am Monday, as she has her "oral exams" to do. Trust me, it's true - RedSimon will confirm it, he was at the same table! The server wobbled when she mentioned oral exams, I can tell ya.

I think Tikay had another mid read!!!
