When i cease to exist as a corporeal being, what is the legal stand on my poker winnings held in various accounts online? What do the online poker rooms do in the event of a client dying? Will my partner be able to retrieve them? I would assume that my poker earnings are classed similarly to any other money i may leave behind, but in this day and age of the law being out of date concerning our modern lifestyle and way of living, is this true? How would that help? If the Site does not want to pay out to your Executors, nothing can make them. Best way is not to tell the Site you have deceased. Get the Executors, or Good Lady, to access the site via your Password, & withdraw the money. Then it'll be divvied up according to whatever you've stipulated in your will. I'd be interested in how much significant money is lying in poker accounts whose owners have deceased. It must be a fair whack.
