have you ever said something to someone then immediatly wish you hadd'nt.not going into the details ;hide; but im interested if anyone else is an act first think second person.i cant show my face for weeks.

i do it on a daily basis

i told someone something personal and ive then realised that they are more than likely going to tell other people.thats all im going to say.

she told tikay that she fancys me and then realised what an old woman he is and that he was likely to tell me

I used to do things like that a lot when I was younger - was far too trusting in everyone.  Why not have a word and say how devastated you'd be if anyone else found out, and make it clear that you'd know where it came from.  If it's too late, just put it down to experience and choose your confidantes wisely.

Hope it doesn't cause you too much grief.

thanks claw im am quite trusting and im always saying things i shouldnt i just hope this person realises that it wasent meant for other people.maybe they will surprise me

37 years old and I still make the mistake of trusting everyone I meet, only to get sht on from a very great height at some point down the line!!

Don't stress too much Littlemiss.  At the end of the day it is only words, I am sure whatever it is after a few days it will all blow over.

I have found from experience that whenever I have told somebody something, it was because I wanted it out in the open.  I am not saying this is the case with your situation, but with me when this sort of thing happens, it is because my subconscious has made it happen.

I tend to talk a lot of rubbish most of the time( I don't know if you have noticed this  :D ) and usually forget what I have said a few minutes after saying it.  It is out of your hands now, so it is best to just try and let it go.  When you are late for an appointment and are stuck in traffic, it is best to just take a deep breath and think to yourself " what a nice day ".  That's what I do.  This is a similar situation. It's happened now and there is nothing you can do.  Just smile  8)

It's easy, I remember this one time, in church, I said 'I do' under no pressure at all.

i quite often put my feet in it...but i dont really care. act first, try and get out of it later....its called thinking on one's first and going with gut instinct...at least thats what i like to call it  :D

i think my instinct might have got me in trouble here stallyon.you never know though i might be surprised.

yes please tightend.i dont really mind i just didnt know you could put polls on a thread you didnt start.i know it was only done in jest though.no harm done.

actually it made me laugh and ive been sour faced all day so thanks to who ever put it up.i think im going to go to the 20pound 1 rebuy at notts tonight.its no-smoking so its a bit quieter,ive been playing rubbish as of late so i might try and use some of my pent up aggression on the tables(hahaha).

no idea who put it up and there's nothing stopping anyone putting a poll up on any thread..we've had them put up on live updates and all sorts but I think they should be removed if the OP wants it that way.

I wouldnt worry about what you said to the person.

If their the kind of person that you think they are they will only be exacerbating their already tarnished reputation by passing on whatever it is you told them.

If the people to whom they speak revel in hearing the infomation that you feel has somehow compromised you then their not really the kind of people you have to worry too much about.
