My next selection is the youngest member of the team, at just 20 he has been described as not only the best young player in the UK (by many pundits) but also as one of the top players in Europe! He has won 5 european ranking events already, despite only just being old enough to play in the UK! In April he took down the main event in his home casino, Luton. He has terrific form online too, whether it be the high level limit games or the big freezeouts. Beware the Irish, you will be facing Mr JP Kelly!

Lets all just hope he is able to get the day of school....

I would've liked a bash at that but I'll be away.  I might consider coming over to support the team anyway as I have a feeling it'll be a cracking atmosphere.

Would be great to take some support away from home ...  I really hope a few do come for the atmosphere and the craic :)

What a line up so far - hats off to the captain and the manager. Hope BlueSq as the official TeamGB sponsors will run a book on this event.

I urge anyone who can make the trip to do so (FREE Union Flags for all those who do so) the atmosphere will be electric - the official kazoo band have been relentless in their practice. There is also the attraction of a Euro20 rebuy fest straight after the HU matches.

In the next few days we will be unvielling the official team mascot which can be purchased in outlets up and down the country (this is seriously true).

For those who don't make it this time, don't worry ICHUC will be around for years to come. Already planned is the rematch on British soil and this years  four nations championship. I am also planning a ICHUC Individual HU event. If there is support England v Scotland, Scotland v Wales and Wales v England events can be held.

Anyone wanting to be involved is asked to PM me - Urgently required are commisioners (NON-PLAYING) for England, Scotland and Wales.

Any company looking to sponsor a nation or event is also asked to PM me.

The same goes for any venues looking to follow the example of the Fitzwilliam (Dublin) and Bannatynes (Newcastle) in staging ICHUC events.

GOOD NEWS .... Davey, I have spoken to Tesco's and Sainsbury's, they have agreed to sell the official mascot !!!!!


Still waiting to hear back from a few other big multiples, but Tesco & Sainsbury's are a massive coup for us.

I believe that ASDA will be stocking our Officiall Mascot as well. This is a major coup for poker. There are probably people who don't believe us - they will have to eat their words.

As soon as I get the dates for the four nations whih this year is 90% certain to be held in Dublin I will circulate them. Tank is Scotland captain this year and I am sure he will welcome all the support he can get.

Don't be silly, I know it's me, Flushy can't beat me HU live so it is a sure bet.

I have had several PM's from well wishers, and for that i am very greatfull, Many of them have also expressed concern regarding our latest selection ... JP Kelly .

They are worried that with a name like that, he must be a double agent, planted in England some years back by the Irish team, and been groomed and schooled in poker along the way ...just waiting for this occasion to arise.

We are happy to point out that JP has been vetted, and he is squeaky clean.... However just to be on the safe side he will be interrogated by Me and Flushy prior to his match, and should we suspect any skullduggery we shall ground him and stop his pocket money for 2 weeks.
