WOW, pretty honest of you to put that one up mate.
Thats the trouble with bluffs, when they go wrong they go spectacularly wrong!!

It's a good move gone wrong. With quads against an aggressive player who likes to takes pots away on the later streets, I like the c/bet on the flop, and let them hang themselves on the turn and river.

you might have got the bluff through, if you had led out on that flop

He has then to put you on the 5th and 6th Aces and then he might have kicker problems

Poor play not to get the bluff through, but I'll wait for totalise to confirm how -EV your play was, especially when considering Bayes theorem and standard chaos and game theory.

Im not so sure about calling the  7d 8d there im afraid, they are a great multiway hand but i dont like the call of $114 with the origional raiser still to act behind you.
If you felt the implied odds instructed a call though fair enough as you know he has KK or AA, if you flop ur str8 your made.  And when the two aces flopped you couldnt put him on AA surely, and its unlikely he'd make that preflop re-raise with an AK, he has to have KK...
If he has KK, ur bluff has a good chance of getting through and ul take a healthy pot down...but the dreaded call came...unlucky.
