Title: Quads over Quads
Post by: RyG on August 02, 2005, 09:58:19 PM
Playing in a MTT on betfred, my bb i have Q2 clubs, theres 6 limpers, flop comes 2-6-6, guy bets 50 i raise to 150, he calls, turn  brings a 2, check check, river brings a 2 to give me quad 2's, guy moves all in, im guessing he has the 6 so i call, he turns over 66 for flopped quads to beat my quad 2's....

dont think ive ever seen anything quite like this before... was pretty amusing to be honest

anyone else experienced anything like this? perhaps a str flush beaten by another str flush?

To be honest ive seen str Flush beat str Flush, a good few times, when the board looks like - 6h 7h 8h 9h - its not uncommon for one player to have 5h and another to have 10h, Youll also get other players sitting with Big Hearts in the hands to fill the pot even more.

Thats when you want the 10h!

Once had my quad 9's busted by quad 10's in a headsup match. Starting hands were 99 v 1010. He my quad's on the flop and the other guy hit runner runner to hit his quad's. Strangely enough I got busted  :o
