Title: Re: can you get away from this? Post by: matt674 on June 06, 2006, 12:43:57 PM I'm no cash game expert but with a possible flush and higher straight draws on board i think the second reraise on the river is unnecessary though your opponent only has $1.94 left after his reraise.
I probably check call on the river in this situation but then an UTG raise with J-8 o/s?!?!? ;) Title: Re: can you get away from this? Post by: stallyon on June 06, 2006, 12:45:10 PM i'd have slowed down on the turn with 3 spades showing
Title: Re: can you get away from this? Post by: Newmanseye on June 06, 2006, 12:49:44 PM I had this table on the run, hence the raise UTG with 8d Js, It was one of those DECK FACE SMACK !!! games for me.
I dont put him on the flush as any other flush he has had he pushed his stack straight away. The call on the end was probably the right move considering i did'nt have the nuts. Title: Re: can you get away from this? Post by: M3boy on June 09, 2006, 01:26:12 AM Still dont like the UTG raise with that hand - even if u were running all over the table
Title: Re: can you get away from this? Post by: Josh on June 17, 2006, 11:12:57 AM I don't think the qeustion is how can get away...it's how can you re-re-raise with a low straight when there's a flush?
Title: Re: can you get away from this? Post by: thetank on June 17, 2006, 11:26:13 AM Yeah, I don't like the re-raise for the extra $18 on the river, I just call his river raise
