I got down to a SB at Notts once. got KK about 10 times and went on to win out right. infact I don't know he remembers but it was the first time me and Tikay met. he was sat to my immediate right and we got chatting about the game in general and his favourite subject Yoyo. This was before he was an international jet set TV personality. Tikay and Julian both finaled that night andfell by the wayside while the deck continued to hit me square in the face. 'course I played 'em well ;)

In a home game i've managed to win from being down to 40 chips at heads up with my opponent having the remaining 8960 chips.

I was down to 200 at the 100/200 blind stage at Notts Gala and managed to final, got very lucky in a few blind hands (including 1 with AA with 2 tables left 300/600 blinds I'm in bb with 100 behind. 5 Limp and I go all in blind for 100 more see a flop, turn and river checked down 5 way and managed to beat a wide selection of hands!).

I was down to 275 from 2000 starting chips for the qualifier on Betfair for the EPT main event. I cameback and qualified then came 7th in that for a nice payday!!

i was down to a solitary 1k chip with 3 tables left in a 5 rebuy, blinds were something like 800/1600 and i managed to final with something like 220k!!!
Unreal, i did go on to win it.

my first live game i arrived at the final table with 8 chips, they were playing 2 antes of 3 and 3 on the button and i had to post the first ante first hand of final table i decided no matter what i had first hand i was all in, a couple of hours later i was involved in the 3 way chop for all the money.

my best ever recovery was in a 10 player SnG after getting down to 75 of my starting 1500 chips with the blinds at 50/100 and 8 other players left in and my next hand in the bb i was already looking for my next game with a lot of luck i went on to totally dominate the table on my way to 1st place

the lesson ive learned from this is never give up or 2 give chips up easy as i so often have in 20 or 30 quid 6 packs when i percieve that ive got no chance & it seems to have made my play, not tighter but much more solid.

When a novice live game player i was at the final table and a guy who was removing my chips only raised the amount that would leave me one chip left. I had no idea why so chucked it in aswell but he ordered me to take it out as it was an unannounced raise and gave me a wink. I was confused. The next hand i folded pre flop and two guys got taken out by the chip leader and i moved in to the money. An early poker lesson learned. What a hero.  ;D
