Title: Blonde Cap Post by: Mr F on June 08, 2006, 08:47:02 PM So, I have a Blonde Cap, I'm camping next week with a school group of year 5s, Normally I don't wear hats when camping but as a responsible adult helper I suppose I ought to set an example, (protect head from sun etc).
My question is, do people think the blonde symbol is appropriate? Actually that's not the question, the question is do you think I can get away with saying that the "reclining lady is actually a "m"?! Title: Re: Blonde Cap Post by: Claw75 on June 08, 2006, 10:09:53 PM How old is year 5? 11ish? I'd say probably not appropriate.
Title: Re: Blonde Cap Post by: Graham C on June 08, 2006, 10:12:38 PM I got a party poker hat in the post the other day - that was a nice suprise!
Bit off subject anyway, I'd say unappropriate unless you plan on teaching them how to play :) Title: Re: Blonde Cap Post by: Mr F on June 08, 2006, 10:15:18 PM I'd teach them the maths of the game if I understood them myself!!
Title: Re: Blonde Cap Post by: GlasgowBandit on June 08, 2006, 10:15:50 PM How can wearing a hat be unnapropriate?
Its not as if its nudity! Title: Re: Blonde Cap Post by: Mr F on June 08, 2006, 10:17:48 PM Sorry Claw, year 5 is 9 and 10. Mainly football mad and three of them drink in my local!!
Title: Re: Blonde Cap Post by: Claw75 on June 08, 2006, 10:18:50 PM Bandit, you could take that argument to extremes and say wearing a t-shirt with f*** off you w*****r on it was ok too!
Drink in your local - you have got to be kidding me?!?!? Title: Re: Blonde Cap Post by: Sark79 on June 08, 2006, 10:19:48 PM Title: Re: Blonde Cap Post by: Mr F on June 08, 2006, 10:21:02 PM Not kidding, some of the ruoghest people in my town drink there as well! Sometimes the kids let their parents come along too!!
Title: Re: Blonde Cap Post by: Claw75 on June 08, 2006, 10:22:24 PM what - they get served alcohol?!
Title: Re: Blonde Cap Post by: Mr F on June 08, 2006, 10:25:32 PM Nah, but they do come in the pub rehularly with their 'rents. Thats why everybody calls me Mr F, or Mr Fearn, because the kids aren't supposed to know my first name, so everybody in the pub calls me that. It's quite funny being introduced to new people as Mr Fearn, people give the person intoduing me a funny look. " Why do you call him Mr?"!!
Title: Re: Blonde Cap Post by: Claw75 on June 08, 2006, 10:27:49 PM oh - that's ok then!

Title: Re: Blonde Cap Post by: Indestructable on June 08, 2006, 10:47:45 PM I would say that allthough innocent enough it may not go down well with parents etc.
The new blonde cap doesn't have the logo, not that this helps you. Have a good trip anyway. :)up Title: Re: Blonde Cap Post by: stallyon on June 09, 2006, 11:03:20 AM Nah, but they do come in the pub rehularly with their 'rents. " Why do you call him Mr?"!! you could use that to your advantge when out on a first date...tell her that in this town you are big news and that people respect you..then take her into the pub where everyone calls you Mr.F - see her eyes light up with awe Title: Re: Blonde Cap Post by: Mr F on June 09, 2006, 01:18:38 PM Quote you could use that to your advantge when out on a first date...tell her that in this town you are big news and that people respect you..then take her into the pub where everyone calls you Mr.F - see her eyes light up with awe Wouldn't work mate, first of all they would be all over the aformentioned lady. Once the initial period of all my mates hitting on the woman I had taken to the pub was over they would spend the rest of our time there enquiring as to what the hell she was doing with me and various rude questions as to the status of our relationship. Much like going to a blonde bash i guess!! Title: Re: Blonde Cap Post by: matt674 on June 09, 2006, 01:27:59 PM Mr F..........
