Looks a great idea until you try and play the satellites. Tonights filled quickly, mostly by people who cannot qualify. The promo is only open to UK residents. Yet 90% of the entries are from a certain country. No guesses which one! :o

"Only players who live in the UK and are 21 years of age or older are eligible. Player(s) who are not resident(s) of the UK will forfeit their prize and the monetary prize and television spot will be given to the next eligible player."

Cracking value if you can sit down with mostly ineligible players then...

the prize of 2000 and 1000 doesn't seem to suggest a high quailty show

If you can get in...8.20pm every night until 8th August, I guess 7.20pm is when reg opens. (7.21 pm when it fills!). >:(

Managed to get registered 7.20 today. Still around 1900 places open if any blondites fancy a crack at getting on tv (well C5 if that counts).  ;D

the prize money if you get on tv is really crap i am going to have a laugh and play if i quadraulple up early i might even try and play some poker

i think once i get to 400k i can relax but this is far from anywhere near a big enough stack to get me anywhere near the final 10

trapped the fish perfect with his rag ace when we got all his money in on the turn with the board ace high me showing top 2 pair on he picked up his flush draw which hit on river down to 16k average still 13k

i told mr muppet who took 75% of my chips with his flush draw to move into 2nd spot overall that he wouldnt make top 100 when he was braggin how he would knock all the brits out before top 10

guess what he finished 148th now i am happy

messed that right up flopped top pair of kings with a queen kicker and tried to isolate the short stack who went all in got called by a large stacked american who had caught bottom 2 pair

He finished in the last ten Brits but I guess you have to get in top 10 itself. Looks like 4/5 Brits will do that. Incredible as nearly 95% of entrants were "foreign"

I might be looking at a pint which is half full, however there is no guarantee that there will be any brits in the last 10, therfore common sense would say that they have to use the brits from the sats.

Hope Im not being too optimistic

I thnk that was a bit confusing, what I am trying to say is , if thay take all the top 10 from the sats there is no guarantee that the re will be any brits in, therefore thay have to sort it out NOW.

remember guys that you just need to finish top 10 brits to win a seat get to about 30 and count out how many brits are left you will nearly be on the bubble

OK looks like i bubbled 11th brit - short stack went all in ATo with my last 23k (blinds 4/2) called by the bb who had 94 ... so the 9 came on the river and good night Vienna.

ah ha - it appears the only thing worse than my poker, is my ability to count players with a UK location. I am in for the Tuesday online final.  :)

2075 entered tonight. 500 left at first break I'm 280th, after laying down QhQs down on a KAJ all club flop. The two foes had A5 and 22 no clubs between them. Mr 22 hit another 2 on turn, so I wouldve ended up 3rd...gotta love it tho 4x bb UTG raise and A5o calls in a shot along with 22 ;D

The trouble is there are a lot who are just playing to mess about rather than win. huge arguement at the moment on my table between observing brits and all in merchant yanks
