Title: Football violence. Post by: thetank on June 09, 2006, 02:54:19 PM I saw an interesting documentary the other day on English football hooligans.
They say, that with more Women getting involved in football these days, and people bringing their familys to watch England, that spontaneous football violence is dropping. There was next to nowt in 2002, well done England. What with the world cup being in Germany this year though, whatever the results on the pitch, I just hope the water cannons don't need to be dusted off. Title: Re: Football violence. Most of the trouble is outside the ground and has been for about a decade.
I also hope we dont get any ugly scenes, it ruins the fact England are in it when we do. 99% of the tens of thousands who travel in our name just want a good time, I hope the minority dont ruin it for them and us. Post by: GlasgowBandit on June 10, 2006, 12:21:12 PM I can't forsee the trouble being between the English this year many of their top biys have had passports removed and the cops know the mahoprity of lads that are most likely to make the trip and will no doubt stop many of them before they get there.
The mobolisation of Hooles from Poland, Holland and Italy though is sure to make sure there is plenty of action for any lads making a trip over for a shin dig, |
