I quite like the call here hoping that the geezer bets into you again on the turn.

You also don't want to drive anyone out behind you imo.

As its limit I'd call here to

1. keep the lower flush draws in giving them the "correct" odds to call on the turn if you hit the nut low and if you hit the high on river they will never pass, or so it seems when I've played limit O8. and
2. Because Q holders will never fold to your raise and they will probably three bet to get it heads up, thereby losing most of your value.
and 3. You have nothing (yet)

Raise.

People chase things like K hi flush draws, bottom 2 pair or "hands that work both ways such as A4 Jxs" all of which you are destroying but people are too foolish to lay down. This is a classic flop where you want to get as much money in as possible on the flop.

I riase here hoping to trap people in the middle/ or get riased by 2 pair so you can correctly cap.

I only flat call if im fairly sure i will get raised by an aggro player behind me so he can trap the players between us for one more bet before i cap multiway with the 2 nut draws. It's quite rare you have this strong a read though.

I tend to mainly play 3-6 and 5-10 though where the games are typically wild. If the table was very rocky then i might flat call if raising is highly likely to kill your action

I raised, it killed my action.

3 players folded, the last one called.

Turn brings nut high and one bet.

River brings nut low and one bet.

So I scooped a smallish pot.

Thanks for all your comments, food for thought.

It really depends on how likely you think you are to get overcalls behind you from worse draws. I would raise this most of the time and cap if 3-bet
