Euro 2004 had some crackers too. Keepers always use the ball excuse these days. Title: Re: this new ball.......... Post by: TightEnd on June 13, 2006, 10:15:39 PM Set to be the number 1 cliche of this world cup!
Followed by it being the only WC with no penalites!! Title: Re: this new ball.......... Post by: Karabiner on June 13, 2006, 10:18:30 PM I have noticed that the average goal kick seems to carry about 15 metres past the half-way line.
Now whether that is down to evolution or the new ball I'm not sure.... Title: Re: this new ball.......... The German goal was the only one really and he cut the hell out of it to do it.

Time for a pat jennings style goal i reckon. Title: Re: this new ball.......... When the ball got wet sometimes we had trouble getting goal kicks out of the penalty area |
