Gallosch folds. mrevie calls [30]. JJasonB checks. ** Dealing Flop ** [ 4c, 8c, 8s ] Monster flop for me. What would you do here? Halabica has been quite aggresive pre-flop but not so much on the flop. No concrete idea of other players. Title: Re: Played awfully - any advice? Post by: ifm on June 20, 2006, 12:58:42 PM Bet 3/4 of the pot.
Title: Re: Played awfully - any advice? Post by: thetank on June 20, 2006, 01:01:21 PM You're deep compared to the pot and it would be nice to get payed here.
I think you've got to lead here. Got to start building the pot at some point. A free card could hurt you. Title: Re: Played awfully - any advice? Post by: mjrevie on June 20, 2006, 01:16:14 PM Like i said, i'm not proud of the way i played this. I decided to check hoping someone would bet behind me. The last player did bet and i flat called, it then got re-raised and the action is back on me. Its 240 to me, and i have a real funny feeling i'm behind. I put him on A8s. Whats your move now?
** Dealing Flop ** [ 4c, 8c, 8s ] mrevie checks. JJasonB checks. Robobe checks. halabica bets [240]. mrevie calls [240]. JJasonB folds. Robobe raises [480]. halabica calls [240]. Title: Re: Played awfully - any advice? Post by: ifm on June 20, 2006, 01:19:18 PM Close your eyes and hit the allin button.
Title: Re: Played awfully - any advice? Post by: mjrevie on June 20, 2006, 01:26:29 PM I decided not to lump it all in, but just flat call hoping that he might have a flush draw that he might just be betting on. Anyway, the rest of the hand went as so.
** Dealing Turn ** [ Kc ] mrevie checks. Robobe bets [212]. halabica folds. mrevie calls [212]. ** Dealing River ** [ 3s ] mrevie checks. Robobe bets [358]. mrevie calls [358]. I decided to call simply cause they were relatively small bets compared to the pot and i didnt raise cause i thought the only thing calling me was someone miles ahead of me. Two quick questions, what do you put him on? and what would you have done differently on the turn or river? Title: Re: Played awfully - any advice? Post by: ifm on June 20, 2006, 01:29:55 PM Not sure what he has but reraising the turn will certainly find out if he has the flush.
Title: Re: Played awfully - any advice? Post by: SupaMonkey on June 20, 2006, 01:32:41 PM I have him on a high pocket pair maybe aces with theĀ Ac.
Title: Re: Played awfully - any advice? Post by: LeKnave on June 20, 2006, 01:35:58 PM Yer the minimum raise on the flop suggests to me a bigger 8, it is doubtful he would raise with a flushdraw there with a 240 bet and call. I know raising the turn will tell u if he has the flush, but hes still calling with the bigger 8, im probably going to play the pot very passively on the turn and river.
LeKnave Title: Re: Played awfully - any advice? Post by: mjrevie on June 20, 2006, 01:54:57 PM And supa monkey takes it. He had pocket queens and i took down the pot. Know I played it terribly, but find his play confusing. His bets arent enough to make me fold considering the size of the pot, and its unlikely i'm going to keep calling with something that cant beat queens.
