Not  fan of the new taskbar at the top given you links back to the main page I have only been on for t he past 30 secons and have clicked links to parts of the site I didn't want to be just now.

Very off-putting anyone else agree?

dont know what all the fuss is about to be honest - my mouse cursor very rarely gets that high up the screen anyway. I know they are there and if i ever want to visit other parts of the site i know i can do quickly, the same as being on the main page.

There is also some discussion about whether the banner should be rollover or clickable...this is being referred to the techies.

Once every now and again isn't that bad - if it gets to the stage where you find you've agreed with me more than 3 times in a twelve month period then you have two options:

1) Application form to join the primate appreciation society - honorary human members

or

2) Suicide

I'll enquire with the techies about making it clickable, but I agree with Matt.

If you don't wish to use the menu, then why is your cursor up there?

everytime you use the scoll down bar on the right you open them up

how small is your browser!

Are you able post take a screen shot? I don't quite understand.

When you refresh a page or go to a new thread, often the cursor is over one of the menus. Also, if you have the browser set quite small, to allow you to read and play at the same time, there isn't that much room anyway. The menus constantly flash on and off, very annoying

I didn't realise there were instructions that came with the new menu bars!!!

Get a second monitor, have the game tables on the 1600x1200 monitor to 4-table while continuing to browse blonde on the main screen in full blown up technicolour :)up

Or save a few hundred £££ and get the techies to change it to a "on click" event!

I too vote clickable

Could someone please give me a clickable example (ie website) of one that you'd like us to mimic.

Snoops I think what they are saying is, when you go to refresh the page you get the drop down menu (annoying). So rather than passing the essentials tab and seeing a menu appear, make it so you have to click essentials for the drop down to appear.

I understand that. I was just wondering if someone could link me to an example. I don't want to make the change and then find that it's not what people want.

ps. can u not hit F5 to refresh?

I don't know of a site to point you to.

Yes i can hit F5 but 1 not everyone knows this stuff

and 2 i lounge back in an office chair with the mouse in my hand, typing or using the keyboard involves siting up..
