Start of play has been delayed by a football match which has apparently over-run.

At present, there are 96 confirmed runners, thats 16 tables, split into two flights of 8 tables each.

Flight Two will start at around 9pm, even if Flight One is not complete by then.

We will have a list of Runner & Riders before Flight One commences.

The Tournament will commence within the next 15 minutes.

The Players have not been invited to take their seats yet.

An annoucement has just been made - "Due to technical problems, there will be a short delay".

4th placer, Rod Macdonnell, raised 1.2k with a 4k stack, Kevin Moore reraised all-in for 10k, takes an age to call.

A-Q held up.

Richard Murnaghan then took 3rd when Steve raised his big blind from the button with K-3 suited. Murnaghan smooth called, as did his other opponent. Steve won on a 7-6-3-3-2 board, after moving in on the flop and being called by Murnaghan's A-7.

So, heads up, with Steve holding a big chip lead. About 3.5-1

Paul Parker and Y Eminoglu move all-in on a flop of K-2-3. Both players have K-2.

Steve Walmsey is OUT, leaving just 3 players on the table, 2 of whom are recognisable; John 'Texas' Hewston and successful online player salmolnoyster (how the hell do you spell salmoln??)

And the first player to win his table is blondeite Steve 'Card Shark' Read.

His opponent was highly successful player Kevin Moore, a chap who has won a rather impressive 5 WSOP seats for this year's Main Event.

Steve raises from the button (and small blind for that matter) with K-8 off. Kevin Moore calls.

Kevin checks, Steve bets 600, Kevin calls.

Turn = 8d

Kevin bets out 600 this time, Steve raises, and Kevin flatcalls.

All the chips went in on the 8c river, with Steve taking the pot, and the whole table, with his full house against Kevin's flush (6-7 of diamonds)

Sai Lee has just won table 4, beating Mike 'Micky147' Herron heads up.

Micky was short-stacked right from the off, and almost pulled off a great recovery, but eventually fell foul to Lee.

7 on the flop, but Slade has middle-pin draw. It doesn't arrive, and Luke fills up on the river.

I believe Richard Sudworth has just won his table, taking out Paul 'Fatmarra' Moss and Claire Smith, 3rd and 2nd respectively.

Versus Moss, Sudworth flopped a set, and found a buyer in Moss. Moss then made a flush on the turn and managed to get his opponent to call his all-in. The river paired the board giving Sudworth a full house and Moss a painful exit.

Sudworth then made short work of shortstack Smith to win the table.

And Paul King wins his table.

Mickey bets 2.5k preflop, Rutter moves all-in, Mickey folds.

John Hewston has won his table.

Jason 'Tractor' Oliver is now heads up.

And the marathons are still going, one of which is Pete Haslam's table.

Pete has just doubled up his short-stacked opponent, George Annan (who I'm told won the Blue Square league 3 months running) after losing a 50-50 race... Q-J v 3-3

The threes held up, although the 9-K-2 gave Pete four more outs.

And Michael Idderton wins Table 6.

Jason Oliver was his victim, although a saver was done resulting in Oliver taking home £600.

The final hand?

All-in preflop.

Pete Haslam finally sees off George Annan.

All-in on a flop of 5-3-6.

Q-Q versus Annan's A-J.

A Jack on the turn produced a few beads of sweat on Pete's palms, but the 7 river confimed victory.

Annan had doubled up more than once and brought the chip levels to almost even, so a saver was done with Annan taking £500.

Chris Sokratir currently has a chip lead of 25k v 11k.

They have just called last 3 hands.

If the two remaining tables haven't finished within those final hands, then they shall return tomorrow at what I believe will be 2.30pm.
