Best of luck to Tightend!

I flogged the ticket i won in the supersat back.   The potential 5am finish followed by a drive back to Brum was a bridge too far !  I need to work on my staying power!   :-\

thanks Sheriff and Splash.

Have survived 7 hours of watching El Blondie Maestro at close quarters and the last four levels immediately on the left of Mr Riviere, a frighteningly talented Swedish player (Him every second hand "Raise pot"...me looking at bus ticket "pass").

Mr Riviere has travellled from Stockholm with two compatriots, one of whom is a geezer on DC's table. Was v chipped up. They get everywhere you know.

By way of clarification J Banks is actually Jeannette Baker, a Luton local.

Anyway, all to play for, going to give it a right old go!!

For me it was not meant to be, AA ironed out by K7 which hit a straight on the river.

Still, I want my re-raise to be called by K7 every time don't I?

Except by a Scandinavian who can't miss near the bubble of a 500 comp!!!!

When I left seven were left, Mr "K7" Scandie, Burnley John, Steve Templeman and Max Wilfred are right up there

Still now I've calmed down, I am proud of myself, not a false move for 10 hours play and got very close to reaching the final with chips

Just to answer a few of the points made here......

Ful result to follow, on a new thread. (Otherwise nobody will be able to find it, after Red & Kev have waffled all damn night...).

Well done Tight End, great effort mate. Nice shirt, too!

Will Jen play again this week? Yup, the 750 on Thursday. She said she may play the Super Sat for it, but I hope she does not, I'd rather she by-passed it & bought in. 4 hours of the Suoer-Sat, followed within an hour (if successful, & no point playing it if not) by 9 hours straight of the comp, finishing at 5am, so by then, that's 14 hours "straight", with maybe an hours break between the Super Sat & the comp proper. 9 hours later you are due back (2.30 Friday) for another 5 hours, if you intend to win the thing. That's too long.

Mr Riviere, the Swedish Guy - where did they find HIM? He's an awesome player. I bet one board every street, & he called me quickly each time, including on the end. His A high was good.....I explained that I was betting the draw, he said, "ahh, but the River is the last card". Oops......

Buhlpinder Cohli, or B Kohli as the sheet put it. Good job his first name is not Edward.
