Will Scotland reach the 2008 European finals, can't see it myself. So I guess it's back to the ABE for you guys in the 2008 tournament.

The sad thing is that, 2 years on, the only bit that has completely dated is the bit about Heskey!

I think the sad thing is that if you look at the market value of the players that make up the England team, it is really a case of major underachieveent.  Media and fan expectations are always sky high and adds to the pressure the team faces - puts them in a position of being scared to lose which is not the ideal way to approach a game.

I'm fully aware that the video was made by an Irish person. However my statement was not specific to the video. The only rubbish thing is that you didn't understand that. My comment was however a general one in relation to the numerous ABE comments that have been made by various Scots on this forum over the last month and the general ABE attitude of certain Scots.

I look forward to your predictable 2008 ABE comments for there is no chance your pants football team will qualify.

I think you have argued with every Scot on this board over
the past weeks about this. It seems to have been explained to

I infact have no problem with anybody making whatever statements they desire and have infact taken most of Scotish Daves posts in the manner I believe they were intended as in a mere jest. Thats why I jooking made my ABS, come on the Faroe Islands comments in response.

What I have just done is correct someone who clearly misunderstood what I had wrote and labelled it rubbish. I in turn respond in kind and labelled them as rubbish for not reading something correctly. Is it not ok for me to respond in the same manner???. What I don't appreciate is the childish pm calling me son. TT, you may find it boring, that is your prerogative, I don't care, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to respond to someone who wants to get personal.

What a joke of a reply and what basis do you make your ridiculous accusation???. Is it because I dare to correct people who have misquoted me, god forbid. 1, when England eventually got knocked out of the world cup, it was blatantly obvious that the Jocks would give us a ribbing ... I expected no less.

2, In the main it has been good humoured and friendly, although there are always a few that have to start bringing in politics and religion into it.

3, NO-ONE has the right to tell another member of this forum to go elsewhere...that is NOT on.

4, You all know how fishing works ??  a hook is baited and the fish BITES, thus getting hook in mouth and caught...   IF YOU DONT TAKE THE BAIT ... YOU CANT GET CAUGHT.

5, We have spoken about all these threads between the mods, and decided to show a little tolerance and trust the Scottish branch of blonde to act in a responsible manner and police their own.  On the whole, this has been the case with 1 or 2 exceptions.

6, We definately WILL NOT tolerate personal insults/flaming.

Now lets all play nicely and remember to THINK before you post.

I have no problem with the fact people have a pop about Englands exit and I have myself been critical of Englands performance. The only time I have found it necessary to question individuals remakes is when they have taken one of my posts and twisted to suit their agruement. I have then in those circumstances chosen to respond in the same manner I was addressed, ie Scot Dave claiming my arguement was rubbish and I responded that his point is rubbish as he didn't read the context it was written. (two sentances on different lines does not suggest the comments are linked).

I also have every right to respond to anybody who questions or attacks me and will continue to do so irrespective of whether they have a cheerleading squad behind them or not. Pm'ing,  did i hit a little nerve son?. Maybe you should be aware of the language you use and have it comes across.

So Dave you read my post in one context when I meant it in another. Guess that happens with the written word. Just as I took your "rubbish" and "nerve son" remakes as a pop against me. Such is life. Calling someone son after any exchange is never a term of enderment however much you pass it of as "not knowing my age". And yes I responded accordingly as I also do, and always will against someone who thinks they can take a pop at me. Bring it on.
