i just had the most bizzare thing happen ever

i had AK and re raised all in for 2200 after an early raise from a yank

another yank goes all in for 6000 and the original yank raiser called for 6000 or so

so theres a nice 9k side pot between them 2 and a 6600 main pot

flop comes QT4 and i think im dead but..........one yank timed out and the other said in the chatbox...i just read the rules and FOLDED with me all in!!!....i won the main pot but the side pot vanished neither of the yanks won it because they both folded the flop!

i had 9000 and although i was only looking at premium hands only to double me up

i couldnt fold my 66 on a 236 flop (all hearts)

unfortunatly yankey doodle with 8h 6 thinks his hand is good enough to stick his 30000 chips in and i get flushed out on the turn river not pairing board oh well my great run continues!!!

i am in the $11 rebuy on stars though i had registered before my 'no poker vow' and am going quite strong so fingers crossed

i raise 4 x bb    only bb calls also with decent stack just below mine

flop T78.....he bet pot straight out.......i put him on a 9 so i want to get this pot over and done with and raise x 3

he flat call so half his stack is in

turn is a J so board is T87J......he goes all in......i have to call with the TTT and i call he got 56......pot 60000 would put me 10th last 150

but no river is 4, the only card he wins the pot with, a 9 i can probably get over as it splits the pot BUT A 4. just takes the p***. he then goes to take out my hort stack all in with 88....he calls with AA and i get no help or justice.

i really really really am quitting internet poker....its a sick game and gl to anyone who wins money.

Really feel for you there Sunday. Is it that, in online poker, we see so many hands that the bad beats seem to out number the good times? Just a thought.

sunday, i dont think i would of called after the turn card to be honest. you have already put him on the straight so you think you are behind anyway and you would of needed the board to pair to win the hand. as it happened you were not behind and got really unlucky. i dont understand the guy putting himself all in to draw to 1 card because like you said if he hit the other end of his straight the board would of showed the best hand.
i think every online poker player has thought about quitting at some point. take a break and come back refreshed. good luck mate

maybe your right Robert i had considered that........but the main thing is my bankroll is showing that im losing.

i had a consistent 12 months where i had setbacks but never any long lasting ones or expensive ones......

As you can tell it really has got to me.......theres only a certain amount i can take and its got to the point where i think ive probably got more chance of winning if i go into corals and put my money on the number 3 dog.

i know its boring to hear other peoples bad beats etc but i gota let go of some steam somewhere other than my wall for once :-\

looking back i keep saying to my poker buddy im getting outdrawn all the time.......and he says theres nothing you can do when your moneys in the pot and your ahead.......90% of my big pots the past 2 months ive been ahead when all/most of the money/chips have gone in.

To rub it in the documentary i was supposed to be filmed in has suspended filming until further notice! :(

I now have no confidence in my ability to play so therefore gona jack it in and learn something else.

i covered him by about 5k if i lost too it wouldnt be the end of the world! id noticed the guy was a bit loose too and willing to take a stab at things......and like i said you wont see sunday8pm ever playing again ever!

you want the yanks playing gives you great chance to build a stack and the chances are they will knock out most of the brits for you so you just need to sit back and collect chips

remember not to get over exicited preflop and only play huge hands on the flop then there isnt a problem

moved to a table and saw an american guy move in every hand for 3 rounds and I gather he'd been doing it a while before I got there. he's finally left / been removed but it's arsed up the game and knocked out a dozen players or more.

It is a little annoying but worth the experience to work out how to play against them.

bloody annoyed though. If non-UK residents can't win the prize, why should they be allowed to spoil the qualifier for those of us wit a genuine prize to aim for. It's all very well saying good experience but the guy I saw move all-in preflop for 3 or 4 rounds knocked out alot of genuine hands and UK players that may well have deserved a shot at TV poker.

ALL BRITS IN THIS EVENT SHOULD COMPLAIN. :-[
