So far, Goran played half game whilst sitting on a stool, and then a girl in the stand couldn't stop laughing so the players stopped playing and went over to talk to her instead, and one of the other players tipped a line judge when he got a good call. :D

He used to play with Leconte, they were a great pair - oftentimes, they would make their opponents laugh so much as to be unable to concentrate on the game! Thing is, you have to be an amazingly talented player to be able to do the tricks that Bahrami can do. As I recall, he's self-taught, but suffered at the peak of his powers when Iran banned tennis - along with all other competitive sports - in the seventies. He and Leconte split their partnership, I think, when Bahrami became old enough to play on the Senior-Senior tour, the one above the Seniors (where Leconte still plays). |
