Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: I, Zimbra on July 07, 2006, 10:15:39 PM I am going through the same process.
Tribeca is supported, but only for cash games. Not tournaments. Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: Jim-D on July 07, 2006, 10:20:41 PM Same question but regarding Stars, Just deposited on stars today.
Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: Acidmouse on July 07, 2006, 10:25:11 PM I got the bloody thing working! its fun but not sure $55 is worth reg fee.
i made most money from starting hand 6 9 then any other hand! strange. Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: Longy on July 07, 2006, 10:49:46 PM Yes jim it does stars, i only play cash online these days so i will leave other to advise if you want tournies.
A couple things on stars before you start importing, make sure that you have clicked the option on stars that saves hands to your hard drive and make sure you point poker tracker to where the hand histories are. Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: Longy on July 07, 2006, 10:51:03 PM Just installed it now, is blonde part of the Tribeca network and does it auto import hands from it? any help welcome it seems so complicated. If you are cash player i think its the best investment you will ever make and i will stand by that. Thats what im looking for Longy, Thankyou. Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: I, Zimbra on July 08, 2006, 01:17:17 AM Already I can see it will be worth the $55.
Stars are supported for ring games and tournaments; to save the time and trouble of going on each network/site by site, there's a list of all supported sites at http://www.pokertracker.com/ptsupported.html The first block of names are sites that support both tournaments and ring games, and the second block is just for ring games. Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: I, Zimbra on July 09, 2006, 04:41:01 PM Am spending part of the day teaching myself the ins and outs of this software :)
Just one question for the mastertrackers on the forum - do you use just one database for all your hands, across all the sites that you play - or do you recommend using a separate database for each network? Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: Gryff on July 09, 2006, 05:31:28 PM Have one database for each type eg one db for limit HE, one for NLHE, and so on.
Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: RioRodent on July 09, 2006, 07:10:35 PM I have a copy of a very good PokerTracker guide.
If any one wants a copy, PM me your email address. Cheers, Alan Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: Longy on July 09, 2006, 10:45:14 PM Yes use different databases for different games, i have seperate ones for 6 max and full ring. I personally wouldn't have them for different sites.
Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: JLocke on July 10, 2006, 08:23:28 AM I recommend Poker Office to all of you thinking about getting a tracking software. Poker Office is the better of the two softwares in my oppinion - better interface, everything built in and better filtering tools.
Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: Gryff on July 10, 2006, 09:47:27 AM I agree with Poker Office about holdem, but it doesnt support stud or omaha.

Well, I don't play any limit and I don't play any six handed, so I guess that makes my decision easy then! Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: Royal Flush on July 10, 2006, 03:25:37 PM Callng Sheriff!!!
What are those addons you get for PT that overlay on the tables? Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: I, Zimbra on July 10, 2006, 03:29:16 PM GameTime+ and Poker Ace HUD?
Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: action man on July 10, 2006, 05:40:22 PM no need to buy it, get it from www.torrentspy.com download bitlord first
Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: AndrewT on July 10, 2006, 05:57:26 PM no need to buy it, get it from www.torrentspy.com download bitlord first Or you could decide not to be an arsehole and actually pay the small pittance that Pat charges for it, which gets you the best support of any product I have ever seen. Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: Royal Flush on July 10, 2006, 07:02:54 PM Which is better? GT+ or Poker Ace?
Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: I, Zimbra on July 10, 2006, 08:09:14 PM That is a good question, Flushy, one I was going to ask (as soon as I have my PT registration sorted).
All I know for now is GT+ is freeware, but Poker Ace HUD is shareware and costs something very reasonable like $25... so I assume PAHUD has more/better features. Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: action man on July 21, 2006, 01:20:23 AM no need to buy it, get it from www.torrentspy.com download bitlord first Or you could decide not to be an arsehole and actually pay the small pittance that Pat charges for it, which gets you the best support of any product I have ever seen. lol what do you think i pay my broadband fee for? :tikay: Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: Gryff on July 21, 2006, 11:53:33 AM no need to buy it, get it from www.torrentspy.com download bitlord first This is a pretty terrible idea. You can get cracked versions and so on but they don't take updates very well. Secondly....so much of the poker downloads on torrent sites are infested with virus and trojans it makes paying the $55 a much safer option. I'm a member of a private poker torrent site and they've still had the odd torrent with a virus in them, the mass of stuff available to the general public is thoroughly infected and well worth avoiding. In regards to GT+ vs Pokerace, they both overlay the gametime window that is already in PT onto your tables in pretty colours, you can do without unless you're multitabling. PAH is generally acknowledged as the better because it supports tournaments where GT+ doesn't, and it is more configurable. PAH also supports Omaha and its variants. Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: I, Zimbra on July 21, 2006, 02:28:22 PM $55 paid via Neteller, registration code acquired and utilised... easy-peasy... :)
looking forward to logging up more than a 1000 pittance of hands now 8) Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: Yeyo on July 21, 2006, 03:12:26 PM Nice 1 zim, btw Im surprised no one mentioned about the auto rating of players in PT, you may wanna tweak with the default settings on whats defined as a rock, maniac etc... Have fun with it. With regard to PO and PT i was led to believe that PO was good for in game stats but that PT was better for post game, I may be wrong on this though. Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: I, Zimbra on July 22, 2006, 12:12:34 AM Somewhere on here there's a link to another site which has a pretty good PT 'how to' page (albeit with an affiliate link to the PT site o'course!).
I used the advice there to tinker with the autorate definitions. According to the test hands I inputted I am tight/passive/aggressive, which surprised the hell out of me! :D Title: Re: Poker Tracker Post by: Nem on July 22, 2006, 12:15:48 AM http://www.bet-the-pot.com/poker-tracker-part-one-page31.html
