Hello guys

I have just been out on the razzle and am a little bit sloshed.  This admission enough has taken me about 10 minutes to wright as it is.  I actually can touch type but i have already deleted my whole thread twice throough pressing the wrong buttons and i keep typing the wrong letters and have to delete the crap that i am writing!!!

My inherent inebriation is due to me FiNNALLY selling my business, that has been SOLD since February but i DO hand over the keys on MOnday morning and it is job done!  I cannot tell my friends at blonde enough how this has been a noose around my neck for sooooooooooooooooooo lonmg and my ordeal is finally over.  I am going into the chippy in the morning (afternoon) to do the final stock check and hellooooooooo new poker life.

All the customers in the shop keep asking me, what are you gonna next and i tell evey single one of them "be a professional poker player" and i get the same shocked look out of every person.  THis acually amuses me and i just always looked forward to that becoming a reality - well guys against all odds - this is gonna happen and it WILL happen as of Monday morning - see some of you in vegas or not but i will document it for myself but hopefully for others aswell.

Yep! one of those!! Ohhh that cocktail sounds good, that shot looks painless, guy you know behind the bar makes a 3 shot, shot conconction and bingo - I dont feel very well.... I think i will get those paracetomol;s, excuxe the grammer

I find that drinking 3 pints of water before bed works..................if you want to wake up in a puddle!!!

we'll have every version of the word "paracetamol" on this thread soon, the spell checker doesnt feel like correcting it.

i'm usually in the: listen to some music, play some poker(badly) stage when i first get in from a night out, once i take the paracetomol i concede defeat and crash out!!!!!

you cant give in now, you drunk all those cocktails what a waste it would be if you didnt blast some tunes out and wake up your neighbours ::)

I have to confess, i havent played poker in any form for 2 solid weeks now.  I feel ashamed!  I had to run the business solid all that time (thats about 65 hours a week) so havent had the time or the energy for it - first time like for ever!!  I want to hold cards again.

Music - that is usually my saviour but at the moment, i think i might be spinning.  Thanks for the advice bolt and IFM, i am retiring to my spinning bed and no doubt will regret this in the morning.

hope you dont feel bad today :) one piece of advice- never take paracetamol the night you are pissed. your liver has a big enough job breaking down the alcohol nevermind breaking down one of its worst enemies - paracetamol! have a half of a tomato with plenty of salt and sip water.

Cheers mad for posting about paracetamol.  Lucky I completely forgot to take some anyway and no water either.  FOOOLL!

I was waiting till the shop sold and then I was gonna write a lovely eloquent post but I did it last night instead, numbscull  :D

If im feeling a bit dodgy the 'morning after', i take RESOLVE, and try to drink plenty of tea to get some energy.  It that goes well, then start drinking plenty of water.
If i'm really bad, and cant keep RESOLVE down, then i just curl up in bed and try to sleep.

your post was great and probably better reading for us when you are drunk....lol. its good to see im not the only one who posts after a couple of shandies.....lol

Good news on the sale Chili and Good luck at playing Poker fulltime, although im sure you dont need it.
Its amazing everyone on here has a different hangover cure well mine is-
2 ibruprofen, water at night then in the morning, bananas the more the better.
Or just go back down the pub and keep the hangover at bay ;)

I find the best thing for a hangover is nice cold can of coke and a king size twix.

I'm still szozzled.... my first night out since feburary, i got in just after 6 this morning. i think my mates took pictures.

Regards a hangover cure teher are two very simple solutions, the first is if your on holiday or have the luxuary of having a swimming pool at hope is to dive in the deep end and do 3 lengths you will feel great.

The second is my favourite solution of them all just start all over again as soon as you get out of bed, there is nothing better than having a freezing cold can of lager while youw ait on breakfast!  :D

He is right though, the old wise dog! I wish you told me that last night though.  Why didn't I think about the stock check I have to go and do now? 

Its quite funny that last week, I never wanted to see a bag of chips (only the clay kind) ever again. Today, I am absolutely craving some chips with salad cream on them and a splash of curry sauce, and a minifish.  It was my daily ritual for a while until I went onto a chip butty with cheese and chili sauce!! Mmmmmmmm.

As of midday earlier today, the sale was absolutely official.  My solicitor rang and told me the news, then i had to apologise to him for the times I went off my head at him and swore but he said he had heard much worse in his time and I kept him from falling asleep  :D

The moment I put the phone down from him, I ran out of the back of the shop and as I got round the corner I started to jump up and down, sticking 2 fingers up at it in plane view of the local cctv and the few passing motorists who bipped thier horns at me.  ;D /:-| ;D

Then I bought a beer from the spa shop next door, downed it then felt sick.  I dont think the new owner saw any of this as it might have been a little disheartening for him, just the recieving the keys an all.  He has a long hard slog in front of him but good luck to him.  My life begins again..............................................................................................................NOW!
